Used everyday for 16 months - it's awesome. **Q: How does this grinder compare to baratza? Thank you** A: James Hoffmann did a comparison test of them. Wilfa is less noisy, grinds twice as fast as the Baratza. **Q: My grinder was fine and suddenly grinds very slowly making awful noises. why? i cleaned it (as usual) no help. what do i do?** A: We'd recommend ensuring the burr is correctly positioned in the grinder. If it is sat correctly, we'd recommend getting in touch with the seller as this sounds like a warranty issue. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great grinder for the money. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 3 April 2023* I love this grinder, but I should specify I've no idea how it will perform for espresso grinds. Foe me it's usually grinding for aeropress, which it does superbly.Bought this to replace a Dualit model which broke after years of service. So, not in the best of moods when I received it. The best tribute I can give it is I wish the dualit had broken way earlier. This grinder does everything that little bit better. Grinds seem more even, it has more precise settings, it's even cleaner with the collection chamber being fed from the top not the side - which means less loose grounds on you worktop when you remove it. Its not 'the replacement Coffee grinder', its the grinder i wish id had all along.Cons? Well it's a bit larger than my previous one, but also heavier, and feels better built - which isn't something I often say when comparing with Dualit. Personally I like how it looks so that's not really an issue. I initially thought it was a shade expensive, but it's won me over. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Possibly the best entry level electric grinder on the market *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 13 January 2023* After some deliberation between this and the Baratza Encore, I made the plunge and chose the Wilfa Aroma as the upgrade to my Hario Skerton. The grinder itself is extremely easy to use, it has a total of 2 buttons and 2 dials. Very difficult to misuse. Only criticisms would be the slightly fiddly bean hopper lid, and the grind setting adjustment dial being the bean hopper, which leads to slight awkwardness when changing the setting. The grind quality itself is, for the price, amazing. I'm not sure you can get grind quality this good anywhere else for the same cost or less. I have zero complaints about grind quality, it's not perfect, but it's the most bang for your buck option out there. The ground coffee bin is definitely a point of criticism. There isn't an aspect of it that I don't on some level dislike. Rather than being a simple cube or cup shape, the grounds bin is a geometric nightmare, seemingly designed to make pouring the grounds out as annoying as possible. It's nothing unbearable, but it is annoying. The grounds bin does have some anti static coating, and paired with a puff of water from a spray bottle results in next to no static, so that's not an issue.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. The grinder isn't perfect, no product is, but for its cost it's the closest to perfect you can get. Would recommend to anyone looking for an entry level electric burr grinder. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Almost perfect *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 4 May 2026* The collection bucket is liable to static clinginess. ## Frequently Bought Together - Wilfa CD Automatic Electric Coffee Grinder Svart CGWS-130B, Black - Hario VDD-02B Drip Decanter Pourover Coffee Brewer Server for 2 - 3 Cups, 700 ml - Hario Paper Filters for V60 Dripper Coffee Maker, Compatible with Size 02, White, 1-100pcs --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/48509496-wilfa-classic-aroma-coffee-grinder-electric-grinder-with-cone-grinder](https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/48509496-wilfa-classic-aroma-coffee-grinder-electric-grinder-with-cone-grinder) --- *Product available on Desertcart Cyprus* *Store origin: CY* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
