Good replacement for old Fellowes unit
I brought this because my old unit often had items getting stuck inside. The final use had a sheet not come out at all and in fact wrapped completely round the internal roller. This one fed the same sheet through without an issue. It does has a button that, I assume, relases the rollers inside so if something does get stuck you can stop the process, pull it back and try again.Very simple to use - plug it in, turn it on, let it heat up then feed the plastic through from 1 side. Not the quickest of machines but ideal for home use.

Was not at all happy with its performance
Originally purchased an Intey laminator which I believe is made by the same Chinese manufacturer as the Crenova and is identical to that machine. Was not at all happy with its performance. (Noted that there were several of that machine being sold as "Used" at the time. Perhaps should have taken the hint that people were maybe finding problems with them).Nevertheless both the Intey and Crenova were being given identical excellent reviews. My problem with the Intey was the quality of the rippled, slightly buckled output. It was just not up to standard whatever I did.So bought the Fellowes and the output very much improved. Just a few pounds more. Hot Lamination only and also only A4 but that is fine for me. Its not as quick and effective as a £100+ model in my office and it would be unreasonable to expect that. But for what it costs I think it is good value for money and is better than any of the other cheaper laminators I have tried.I hope this reviews may help others

Great Home Office Laminator
I was a bit dubious about buying this because it was so reasonably priced but went ahead because of Fellowes reputation in the stationery market. It does admittedly take a while to heat up to temperature, but other than that it does an excellent good job. I can certainly recommend it.

Excellent
As brand is Fellowes I expected it to be good and I haven't been disappointed. Does exactly what it needs to do - perfectly every time. Note: I did use Fellowes lamination pockets and I practiced on some documents/pictures I didn't need first, even then I didn't have any problems or issues. Beware of laminating documents or similar that might respond to heat - e.g. containing paints and crayons. I didn't but I've heard horror stories.

Great Laminator Great results
Purchased this for me to help with the presentation of work. It warms up quickly and is ready to use in a short time. It is extremely to use. You just plug it in and wait for the light to come on. Place your work in the laminating pouches ( They recommend using their pouches and it will not jam.) and then feed it into the laminator. like all the laminators I have used before this is not a speedy process but I must say it is a lot quicker than some I have used. It produces a really nice looking sheet with no wrinkles or bubbles.

Works well and worth the money
No problems so far, takes a couple of minutes to warm up and it’s ready. Was a little wary based on other cheaper products that haven’t worked well for me in the past but worth spending a few extra pounds here even just for a small home-use laminator.

Easy to use
I love my new laminator! Bought mainly for my hobbies ie patterns etc but hubby says it will be handy in his office! (he's self employed) I used it for the first time yesterday. I had a very creased item I wanted to Laminate and was very surprised when it ran through it came out totally smooth! The heat output is minimal - I put it on a wooden table and it was fine.Very easy to use
