Dolle Arundel Wooden Space Saver Staircase Kit (Loft Stair) - Suitable for a Floor Height up to 2980mm

Great set of stairs, you get exactly what you see in the pictures. I found all the pieces fit together perfectly and I now have easy access to my loft. Don't expect the highest quality hardwood though, it's simple pine, with the usual knots here and there, but they are straight, not twisted or warped, but considering the price, I think they are spot on. I got the option with the slide system, which is a bit crude and noisy, and a little bit of a faff to fit, but it does work if you want the stairs to move up against a wall when not in use. I ended up changing my plan and not using it, so the stairs are fixed in place. but I'm delighted with the stairs for what I paid.

Despite the low price tag compared to other products available, the quality of this item feels high and solid, nothing more off putting than something that is designed to take weight feeling flimsy!Easy enough to assemble (on your own as well) but the instructions are a tad vague, so some experience with D.I.Y. is needed, some additional tools are needed but nothing that is difficult to acquire.Designed to fit any reasonable ceiling height so you will probably need to cut some of the bottom off.Safety Tip : wrap and screw carpet to the steps, because smooth wood and socks do not provide much grip!

The ladders are stunning

This really was a good bit of kit. It fitted exactly how I wanted it to in my Garage and everything went to plane, once we assembled it (all pieces fitted perfectly) we boarded the roof space in my Garage and hey presto one new shed !! The only thing I added and recommend was non slip strips on the steps of the staircase as it is steeper than normal and part of its area saving spec. The non slip strips are available from Amazon and the roll cost me about £17.

Goes together well. Sturdy enough for my weight plus heavy gear totalling over 18 stone. Very good value, easy to adjust for floor heights

Arrived next day. Good quality, went together well. I used wood glue to back up nails. Although I'm sure the manufacturer would not recommend, I reduced the width of each tread by 4mm from top to bottom to make it easier to walk past. I forgot to order manufacturers brackets, but ordered separately and can recommend.

Looks good and is nice and sturdy but the runners to lower and raise the ladder could be smoother
