Yukon 20-50x50 WA Spotting Scope

The spotting scope is very good,it has good optics it,s has good clear image from 20x to 50x range. It is rubber covered and does not weigh much either.I am now thinking of buying a mono pod,because with 20x mag you cannot hold it steady without a support .It is ok if you can rest on something to steady it.I also have a pair of binoculars with bk4 glass optics this is considered to be quite good optics .The optics in this scope are as good as the binoculars.The only thing is that the magnification ajustment is a bit stiff to turn ,but this is ok when you get used to it .The focus wheel is easy to turn and focus,so there is no problem there. Over all it was a good buy , would recommend this scope very good value for the money.Terence.

It's a budget telescope but seems robust and fairly well made. Used as a plane-spotting scope for a couple of trips so far . Lens seems good with a decent image and enough light for purpose.There is the well covered problem of a very stiff magnification adjustment and I can imagine it may cause issues if used as a bird spotting scope, but for plane spotting it's a small, light and easy to hold scope. For the price, a bargain in my opinion and a good option for spotters who don't want to spend a few hundred pounds.

I needed a lightweight, rugged and powerful scope that I could tuck away in a rucksack or carry on. I use this for aircraft spotting and it has now travelled the world with me. I was a tad dubious that it would be shaky, and indeed on maximum zoon it is, but then again I am normally leaning up against a fence or on a wall and it is only unusable when the heat haze is at its worst.This is a great scope for the money and I would recommend to any aircraft spotter, bird watcher or marksman, I also use mine at the range and it is very popular with the other shooters!

very very narrow focus at bigger mag. But Ok once you get this and you do no need to move

Good glass, lightweight and compact. Yes it's cheap for a spotting scope, but does the job. I use it for shooting on a tripod to see POI and it's great for this. Only issue is stiff zoom ring, but easy to work around.

This is a sound piece of kit but with a fundamental flaw. The focusing and zoom rings at the eyepiece are so stiff that you will loose sight of whatever you were looking at and have to reaquire it. I use this mostly with a tripod and that helps but I can think of no reason for the mechanism to be so stiff. Optics are fine and the construction is almost unbreakable (I haven't tried).

It feels a bit light and plasticky, but then again that is a bonus if you have a long hike. The image quality is very good - there are better scopes but for a lot more money and a lot larger. The zoom levels are excellent, although you will need a tripod at pretty much every level. The case is of very average quality, and the eyepiece could have been bigger and softer. Otherwise this is a very good portable spotting scope.

this is a great scope, lightweight and compact with a carry case. It is easy too focus and adjust the zoom. Awesome power for something so small
