It had several knots where the yarn had been spliced and it kind of get very wide and fuzzy in some spots making counting stitches hard. It's very thin in some spots. Also I opened another skein of the Stained glass and found the \"inside\" was a maze of knots and twists and a real mess. I think the solids might have slightly more. Bear in mind you might need more than called for in a pattern - although it's classified as a #4/Worsted, it's what I call a \"Skinny #4) which for loose knitters/crocheters, might require you use a needle or hook size one or two smaller than that called for on the ball band. It is 100% acrylic, which is nice if you're making something for kids or an item with a lot of wear, and the luster is quite nice, too. It would be delightful in a lacy project. However, if you are looking at it for an afghan or blanket, be aware it's going to be lightweight when finished (which is nice, too). Good luck!!"}}]}]}
