A very, very happy, dragon-loving 8 year old got this for Christmas. It looks and feels great. Not like fancy heirloom quality, but totally decent and enjoyable quality. For fun, I added a note to the box that I printed on thick card paper saying, "The Earth Dragon," then in smaller font, "The Earth Dragon watches over all creaures of Earth, tends to their ecosystems, and playfully nurtures their wild spirit." That's what she's into and go figure she was ecstatic! On the other side I wrote, "Ain't it Nice, Keepsakes and Treasures " so that she thinks it actually was made with the intent of being an Earth Dragon. Worked brilliantly. I did something simlar for my 12 year old's "Story Dragon." She loves fantasy books and all good stories. These dragons were a hit!
