Hubsan X4 H107C HD 2MP Camera 2.4G 4CH 6 Axis Gyro RC Quadcopter

I've been wanting a drone for ages! After buying the CX10 as a present for xmas for my nephew and having a play with it, I started to look for something a bit better for myself.Found the Hubsan on Amazon, which seemed very appealing. There are a lot of versions of this X4 drone. I ended up choosing this one after careful consideration.X4 H107L - Nice drone, no camera, longer flight times, lighter drone, slightly less powerful motors that ones without the camera (not a problem), generic batteriesX4 H107C - Same as L but with camera 0.3MP, shorter flight times than the L, higher powered motors to carry the camera, generic batteriesX4 H107C HD - Same as the C but with with a 2.0MP camera, generic batteriesX4 H107C + - Latest version with 2.0MP camera, altitude hold (which doesn't work very well), the controls have been desensitised to give a smoother flight for video but loses the racer/stunt performance of the previous version, remote video and camera buttons on the controller, specific batteries for the drone.I didn't choose the L incase I wanted video, so I had to get the HD as this was only a couple of ££ more than the normal one. The + was no good to me, as I didn't want it for video, I wanted it to have a laugh and learn how to fly one of these drones.The drone it self is amazing!! I can only describe it, is like an angry wasp. The sensitivity is amazing compared to the other drones I've played with and that is in normal mode...forget expert mode.To put it in expert mode, you press the right joystick in. This will allow flips, I'm not interested in the flips so what you do is press the left joystick and this leaves it in expert mode but without flips.This also comes with a prop guard which is taped to the bottom of the plastic box, this is essential as the props are prone to damage.This drone has take quite a few hits, and it has survived. It has special arms which snap apart to absorb the damage when it crash lands. Pop them back together and carry on flying.All in all, I love this and do not regret buying this at all. However I recommend getting more batteries, and more props as you will need them to keep the enjoyment alive!

Nicely made, works well but you need a large house or a double garage. This is not a drone, you actually have to fly it and some skill is needed - if you get into trouble a crash can happen very quickly indeed. It's just the thing to teach an adolescent a little manual dexterity. The main battery is replaceable easily, spares are available. What it really needs is some sort of lightweight safety cage for while the pilot is learning, and if it had that I would give it 5*.

I bought this as a weekend distraction as I used to have RC planes as a kid and heard good things about this product.I have now become completely addicted to aerial filming as the results from this small "toy" are just phenomenal. I even used it to video a family wedding a I think produced something pretty impressive considering the low cost of this thing. That being said spare batteries are very cheap so not a big deal.Highly recommended for young (and old) enthusiasts.

Cracking little unit, works well and battery lasts a reasonable time, good quality on the camera as well. This is a good starter for people who are looking to go and purchase a model that may be a considerable cost. Delivered well with the time period stated.

I was mistakenly sent the H107 low def model for which I was adequately recompensed, however I feel the need to comment on the durability of this little thing. I bought this to replace one that I lost due to careless flying which did about a 150 foot tumble out of the sky the last saw of it. I was reunited with it 3 weeks later. It had taken a massive fall and had been stuck in the top of a bush completely exposed in horrid winter weather.Took it indoors and it flew like nothing had happened. Unbelievably tough!

I enjoyed the Syma versions more .. make sure to get the protective shields cause the blades are really mean and can scratch the walls ... the drone itself is twitchy and not as stable there is a lot of calibration steps involved as well

WOW! LOVE This thing! A must have for every quad lover!It's a bit tricky to master at first and I definitely recommend using the included propeller guards when flying indoors or you'll be going trough props like crazy.Also, get a pack of extra lipos and charger because you'll just want to keep flying non stop after you get one :)

Brilliant fun, tough fast agile and forgiving, if you're a novice like me don't expect to fly this out of the box, it takes a few days, buy extra batteries and the multi battery charger and the crash pack yes you will crash, good luck fellow pilots, it's the phantom 3 professiona next, anyone no of a good insurance company for quadcopters!
