Best of both worlds
Bought this for my 9yr olds birthday and he loves it. He is very into science and video games so this combination was perfect for him. Best of both worlds. He found it very easy to understand and caught on very quickly on how to play. This game is really geared towards kids who love to learn and play games. Wish they made more of these type games.

Chemistry Fun
The game is a fun way to see which chemicals react together and what the reaction is. My kids love safely mixing compounds to see the reaction . It is great for chemistry 🧪 and no mess to clean up after. Be

science papa stinks
I purchased science papa because I liked the idea of a game designed to give my daughter a chance to learn some science experiments.Unfortunately all the experiments are timed and if you don't beat the time they set for you you can not go on to the next experiment. This feature really is ridiculous becuase all the experemnts so far involve baking in an oven and this takes up a big part of the time.It really defeats the purpose of trying to learn when you can't even advance to the next experiment.I really wish I could get my money back the game is a total bust in my opinion. Also my daughter hates the fact that she kept getting sent back to the lab to redo the same experiemnts over and over. She will not be playing with this at all.....big waste of money!

Kind of like Cooking Mama only with Science.
This is a game which is somewhat similar to Cooking Mama. The premise is you are a lab assistant climbing the ranks to become a top scientist. You have to make these experiments following a "recipe" of sorts, and along the way you are challenged by other scientists and you compete head to head to make these experiments. The experiments are loosely based on reality but in no way will you learn science by playing this game. It will not teach you how to make anything in the real world or teach you anything about how to be a real scientist if that is what you are looking for.If you are buying this for kids, they will need to be able to read. Other than that this game is good for all ages.

Wait until you find it on clearance...
The concept is fun - create science products by mixing, heating, baking, etc to earn points, levels, and new "recipes," but it's just REALLY monotonous - you do the same things over and over and over again. There's nothing to make it challenging or exciting or funny. I was really hoping when I bought it that it'd be more like Cooking Mama, but it really falls flat. Wait until this one goes into the $9.99 bin at the store.

Science Dad
Wii has now taken over the main function of the TV. Im fine with that, my kids love playing with the Wii game console. I made it a point to look for science, educational, active type games. Science Papa deliver on all accounts. Great way to be introduced to some science experiments. Wish some of the graphics would be better done in Science Papa 2 (whenever that comes out).
