I saw this in a video from an influencer. And I knew I had to have it. First of all, I have lots of cats so I buy forty pound boxes of litter and the boxes they come in are so heavy duty that struggle to open them to pour out the litter and forget about breaking them down!! I also get a cat food driver 2-3x a month on top of other boxes arriving to my home so I knew I would use it. I have been using it since I received it. But today was the real test. I had to open and break down two cat litter boxes as well as two large boxes, bigger than what you would receive an artificial christmas tree in. It was so much faster and efficient than had I just broken down the boxes and tried to squeeze them into my recycling bin. There's so much more eoom in recycling bin now that I can cut things smaller. I don't have to mess with using scissors and making my hand go numb. If you get a lot of packages or have things to break down for any reason, including older age dexterity, et cetera, this is amazing.

Where has this been all my life! This little cutter is amazing, lightweight, and easy to handle. I used to let my many delivery boxes pile up until my son would rip them apart and put them into our recycle bin. However, now cut my boxes into small pieces, which takes up less room in the recycle bin. It's worth every dime, came with an extra blade, and is pretty pink.

I recently picked up the SnapFresh Cordless Electric Scissors 4V Mini Box Cutter for cutting cardboard packages and light materials. It makes slicing open boxes, plastic bands, and thin cardboard much easier than with manual scissors — convenient if you process a lot of shipments. The cordless design and included charger are nice, and it’s straightforward to operate. On the downside, it struggles with thicker or tougher materials like dense cardboard, heavy plastic, or leather — it's fine for package opening but not a serious “shop-tool.” The blade replacement is easy enough, but for frequent heavy-duty use, you’ll want something more powerful.

I get a lot of boxes for work and this makes quick and easy work of breaking them down. Makes throwing them away so much easier than before.

I live in an apartment and while there is a trash shoot, you still have to take packages out to the dumpster. The dumpster lid is solid sheet metal and weights about 80 pounds. After smashing my thumb I knew I needed to find a better solution. At first I was cutting boxes by hand but it would take forever and always exhausted my hand. The price of this was a little high, but I wish I caved sooner. The blade is super sharp and cuts through cardboard like butter. I cut three boxes down to fit in my trash can in the time it would take me to cut the flaps off a box with scissors. I’m not sure how long each blade will last, but I’m sure the replacements are worth it. The tool fits nicely in my hand, and the safety was a bit annoying at first. I quickly learned you only need to press the safety to get the blade going and then you can release it. I am super pleased and will no longer dread amazon day!

Works really well unless the cardboard is super thick then you have to kind of force it but it glides nice through thinner cardboard... we bought this to make home made cat scratchers and we can't recommend enough!

I bought this to assist with breaking down cardboard in our house and let me tell you it gets the job done! Came with an extra blade and tools to change it. Bonus is it cuts through most materials 6mm thick so plastic, carpet, PVC, cardboard obviously, and fabrics. The tool itself is build well and made nicely. You charge it for use. It does have a safety lock that can be pushed in from either side. This does have to be pushed in or pressed in order to pull the trigger to start cutting. It’s not foolproof as far as safety but it’s a little hard or challenging for a toddler to figure out however I wouldn’t leave it to chance. Great multi l use tool. May purchase as gifts for people this holiday season.
