For context, I've had these mounts on my wall for over two months now, constantly taking gear off and on, and I bought these as I just don't have any room for floor stands.Before buying, I saw some people mention that they didn't use the included screws and wall plugs. While I followed this, I was planning on doing that regardless if I saw those reviews or not. However, the stuff that came with the mounts seemed fine but I still used my own.The mounts were simple enough to install, no real problems there. Since then, they've been doing their job without a sweat.Currently I have an Ibanez bass hanging on one. The Ibanez bass has a neck that is a bit too thick for the mount so I have to twist the bass before placing it between the mount arms. Once on, the thick rubber provides a grippy cushion which doesn't budge, but doesn't hinder you taking the instrument out.My main instrument is the Epiphone Thunderbird bass guitar. If you've held this one before, you know it can be a very dense bit of kit with a notoriously big headstock. Yet there it is, hanging on my wall, ready to pick up and play without taking up precious floor real estate.Later on down the line if I get more equipment, I can see myself buying more of these!

Good quality but simple guitar hooks, that arrived packed in a plain but neat brown cardboard box. These require some modest DIY skills to fix them to a wall. The hook base is made of black plastic to which the two slightly flexible, foam coated arms are connected. The arms can rotate a bit and through that hold guitar necks of different width. Screws and wall plugs are included but as we wanted to hang one of the hooks on a gypsum board wall we required a different set of wall plugs. Either way, you’ll need to drill a couple of holes and a screw driver to install these hooks.We recently got our daughter a good but relatively cheap guitar to practice some of the basics. Other than that so far her skill and enthusiasm is a bit disappointing, the first thing we noticed was that she has a fairly careless attitude towards the instrument. It was lying on the cough, sometimes flat on the ground among her toys. Hence the idea to find her some hooks to properly store the guitar upright. A floor stand would have been a more expense alternative but we, and certainly her room, lacks the space for that. The other hook we used to fix a smaller size PlayStation Guitar Hero guitar to a wall with in a cupboard.Straightforward, low priced solution but its works well. So I’m pleased.

We bought this to store our guitar and ukelele up away from our dogs and the risk of being knocked. It does a great job, comes with the screws and rawl plugs you need and is very easy to install. It adapts for different sized necks of stringed instruments, and the foam protects them. Our instruments feel very safe on this product.

Has broken after a year of hanging a child size electric guitar on. Very poor.
