Amplification can be loud.
Amplification can be quite loud if you want it to be, adjustable with the volume knob.Does not come with a power supply/transformer, but it did come with a USB power cable (no data) so that you could plug it into your computer if you wish. The USB cable is also used to charge the internal battery inside the portable amplifier.Negative: If you don't have good cable management you can hear static noise in the background, especially at highly amplified levels. But then again it's analog and to be expected I guess.Overall I'm very pleased with this portable amplifier.

A compact mini amplifier
Well built and solid. The performance in terms of stereo surround sound is excellent and indicates uncompromising quality. Battery charge hold good for hours though it hasn't been used for more than a few hours at stretch. I have faith the amplifier is going to last quite a while. Very satisfied with this purchase and thank you for it.

Excellent value. Unit is solid with good quality cables.
I use it for watching Roku with ear buds. I've used this one twice so far and it worked well. This one is a replacement for my SYMiC Model ESY111 that I bought on July 10,2023 for $23.62 and it recently died. I used pretty my nightly for almost 7 months so I can't really complain. Looking forward to similar service from this Model ESY120.

If you want a cheap way to boost around 55 Ohm Rated Impedance headphones - it can work.
Pros:Decent slim aluminium alloy case with a basic black finish - low profile (around the size of a credit card, around the thickness of a modern smartphone)Two gain modes (I prefer High)Analog Volume knob (doubles as power switch)Amplifier output is relatively clean (good enough for gaming or content consumption - not good enough for professional work)Cons:Cheap is cheap - ports don't feel like they'd last daily driver pocket amplifier uses - I am using it as a desktop amp so this doesn't apply to me but could be an issue for others.Micro USB charger - and a cheap port at that, micro usb doesn't last all that long at the best of times for constant use - again not a problem for me as I used mine plugged in all the time.No power input filtering - meaning it's up to you to use a high quality and stable output wall usb power supply if you don't want your headphones filled with either grounding hiss or data communication interference from your pc if you intend to use the amp while it's being charged.Overall it fit's my use case perfectly as it never moves or is unplugged - and I happened to have a good usb wall power supply at the ready. works fine as a handy small desktop headphone amp, but would probably suck and break if used for it's advertised purpose.
