Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings 3 Pack - 9-46 Gauge

I am a working musician and I use several electric guitars in different tunings. Owing to a busy work schedule my guitars take a lot of punishment. I get through a lot of strings. When using guitars in regular EADGBE tuning, I found that strings would break frequently and sustain was limited when using lighter gauge sets. Consequently I have tried almost every recognised brand of strings to resolve these issues and Ernie Ball Hybrids have proved to be the best in terms of lifespan and sound quality. The customized 9-46 gauges are perfect. The thicker strings have sustain and durability, whilst the lighter gauge strings allow for plenty of noodling and dexterity in lead playing - The unwound strings are light enough to ensure you don't get blisters. This happy combination means your guitar will be reliable whether you are playing violent punk or subtle jazz standards. The strings remain nice and bright for a good few weeks of average use. When experimenting with other makes I was surprised to learn that higher priced strings often had shorter lifespans. Do not be fooled by celebrity endorsements or bold claims of scientific innovation. In standard tuning, these affordable Ernie Ball Hybrids function at a higher level to everything else I have tried.

Genuine Ernie Ball Strings. Easy to install. String quality is good. Nothing bad to say about these strings. They're very fairly priced so I usually stock up on a couple and can easily swap them out without much stress.

Great strings 46-9s heavier bottom than a 42 and slightly lighter on 9 top e. Great for Les Paul guitars nice and bendy. Not as tight as fender or D'addrios.

Use to be diehard for another brand. But love the sound of these. Will never go back.

Great guitar strings. I like the Hybrid pack because it gives a deeper base while maintaining great clear treble on the higher strings. The strings sound great when amplified on a tube amp using P90 pickups. The settle in fairly quickly when you remember to give each thing a little tug at the 7th fret to help them stretch. hey tune in nicely and are a good value especially in the 3 pack. The stretchability of these strings are fairly smooth when doing bends and other actions.
