Comfy to use
Worked exactly as I wanted. Comfy to use and no nonsense. I put up steel wires under tension 3 weeks and crimped the ends using this and have no issues so far!

Good tool
Thought this tool would be a little bulky but does the job well. I have use the tool a number of times and with a little practice am making secure, tidy connections with ease. Also, because of the various settings available I am not restricted to one size ferrule.

Not for crimping garden/marine cable ferules!
The Draper 62226 190 mm 9-Way Crimping Tool is probably of great value with the right combination of wires and ferrules. However, it performs very poorly when used with the commonly available garden cable ferrules. Products from several manufacturers in several sizes were purchased, and even with greatest of pressure applied by hand, the Draper tool left barely a mark on all but the smallest ferrule. Most likely the tool is specified for use on only the thin walled electrical ferules and soft coper electrical cables.

Hard to squeeze
Solid build however you have to really squeeze to crimp down. Maybe if handled were longer. That was the reason of 4 star

Don't buy, use a hammer and anvil
I have over 100 wire loops to use with m2 ferules. I thought that this tool would help with making these easily and quickly. The wire cords are being used to hang art pieces and so must be very secure. On using this crimper it immediately became clear that a lot of hand strength was required to securely crush each ferule. It is not that I lack the strength, it is the design which does not allow for an effective crush angle. this results in one having to squeeze very very hard, until the handles are touching. The pain of attempting one ferule told be that I would not be able to complete all looks required. Instead, I resorted to a hammer and anvil - Job done very quickly and, with the ferule crushed as required, I had very secure hooks. Hope that this review helps someone make a decision one way or another.
