Excellent fruity taste
I drink a couple of table spoons a day after a meal. The taste is wonderful and it really warms your tummy!I have no idea about health benefits. It's quite acidic I think, so best enjoyed after eating... not advised if you have a stomach ulcer, methinks ...

Buy the 5 litre size if you are going to take it on a regular basis.
My wife and I have been taking a tablespoon of unfiltered organic cyder together with a similar quantity of organic honey for 10 to 15 years. This is the most economical way of buying it.Recently, the marketing of the cyder has taking a new twist! You will now read on the same product that it “contains The Mother”. As far as I can understand nothing has changed but a friend, who has only been taking it for a relatively short time, told us we were drinking the wrong cyder because it didn’t say “contains The Mother”. It would appear that this new phrase comes from a product, produced in the USA, which say it contains The Mother. From my investigations the Aspall Unfiltered Organic Raw Cyder always has contained The Mother, it just didn’t say so on the label: buts it does now! I suppose the next thing is the price will go up!!

It's good.
I especially like Aspall vinegar and have used the conventional variety for years with food. This raw form is good but I only use it for health benefits, not for food stuffs. I have tried other makes of raw vinegar which seem to contain more body and cloudiness "with the mother" but I assume vinegars may differ according to what types of apples are used? This is a good one to try if it's your first foray into raw vinegar.

Aspall Organic Cyder Vinegar.
An excellent buy. I use this daily, along with fresh lemon, honey and bi-carbinate-of-soda to help control my arthritis pain - it works well. I recently stopped using this for a week and my pain returned, especially in my hands, with a vengeance. Needless to say, I am back to taking my morning cider vinegar concoction and my pains are subsiding - proving that the cider vinegar regime really does work. I only use cider vinegar in cooking and on my chips etc. I have been using cider vinegar since being diagnosed with osteo arthritis more than thirty years ago, and I have now proved to myself that this diet change is hugely beneficial.

I always buy Aspall vinegar, but this time, the vinegar felt weak.
