PREMIER SEEDS DIRECT Stocks - Night Scented - 7 Grams - (MATTHIOLA BICORNIS)

These are fantastic seeds, both in performance and value for money (you get a lot!), you would pay much more for far fewer and less productive night scented stocks from e.g. a garden centre (I know because I have tried direct comparisons and these are by far the best - ever!). After my initial purchase I was impressed enough to buy 10 more packets. However, a word of caution to anyone who as not grown this variety before - be very careful with watering, to heavy and you will lay them flat any they will rot or perform poorly. I use a mist sprayer, or for those in large pots (my preferred method, as you can move them around on a summer evening) can be watered from below. One final observation is that I now never overfill the pot with compost, i.e. leave a good shoulder to help protect and support the young plants.

Not planting these seeds until next spring, have planted this type of stock before, give off a lovely scent in the evenings, highly recommend you buy these, even if you don't have a garden plant some of these seeds in a pot, planter or window box and reap the benefits of a beautiful fragrance in the evenings during the summer. Easy to grow, put in soil/compost and water.

This particular batch of seeds has produced by far & away the most beautiful & heavily scented flowers i've ever known.I shall order more in the new year, for sure.

it is like a normal seed packe tonly full to the brim with small seeds. i good handful. they are alreayd coming up as i sprinkled them in a few pots when i got them. for such a cheap price these are great. normally you have to be very careful with the few seeds you have and really make sure they all come up so that you can have a decent amount, with these you can just sprinkle them and if ssome dont come up loads will... or you could carefully plant them in trays and have a lot of plants ..

I'd put off writing this until I saw some results. I'd had a previous batch of seeds from another supplier - which turned out to be a complete failure. Stupidly, I wrote the review before I realised they were useless. Of course it's impossible to be certain until the plants actually grow and bloom. But suffice to say - so far so good.
