I have a Klipsch Ipod dock which has proved to be excellent quality and seeing these headphones at a low price ...
I bought this on the brand name and low price. I have a Klipsch Ipod dock which has proved to be excellent quality and seeing these headphones at a low price bought a set to have as a spare pair. I have been using Denon and Sennheiser budds and AKG (450) and Sennheiser over ear headphones. I now use the Klipsch headphones in preference to all these. As stated in other reviews these are very bass heavy but this is something I like, adding treble compensates and a good detailed and balanced sound can be achieved. I listen to a wide range of music from jazz, rock, acoustic and some orchestral, I can obtain satisfactory performance for all types. The build quality is good, the ear pads are nice leather and comfortable for long periods. If I had paid the full price for these I would have given them four stars but given the low price I paid I added the extra star as I believe they will beat any similar priced offering.

Good headphones, cable not so durable
Not worth £40 but fortunately I got it when it was on offer (I don't remember the price). They are a good set of headphones. Really good actually, the sound quality is brilliant. The buttons don't work with my phone but that never bothered me.However, although I've taken care of them and kept them in the travel case that is provided with them, the connection for the headphone jack isn't so good and as a result, one of the ear pieces has no sound unless the cable is kept under tension and positioned in the jack a certain way. Aside from this really annoying problem which occurred early on and ruined my experience, the headphones are great.

Initially poor but actually great with tinkering.
Ok, just like you i was thinking there will be a good reason why rrp £130 phones are being sold for£20.... but I thought I would give these a go at £20 and i like the sound of the klipsch kmc3 that I bought a few weeks ago. On my moto g at first they sounded too bassy and quite muddy as others have described. I thought i had wasted my money tbh. It says made for iPod so I thought I would try them on this. They sounded better especially when I selected bass reducer in the eq settings. This seemed to make the sound clearer across bass mid and treble. Did a test and to my surprise they sound much better than all my other headphones now (do bear in mind my earphones only go up to £16 and I have one pair of Sony £10 headphones so not a comprehensive comparison). Selecting treble enhancer on the moto g made that better too although not as good as the iPod. I came to the conclusion that iPod sound is quite low bass (i prefer eq off on most devices but always bass boosted the ipod) and these headphones were made to compensate but went too far. They must get a lot of returns for this product because of this- they do sound rubbish at first. They are also comfy but tighter than others. This presses your ears against your head which is not uncomfy but can get sweaty if its warm. Nicely made and look good. So 4 stars. Not perfect out the box but quite good with tinkering.

Quality set of headphones
Appearance - Outstanding, very smart looking set of headphonesComfort - Fantastic, earpads are very soft and can be worn for hours without any form of painSound - This is my second set of Image One headphones as I find nothing else on the market, even at twice the price, can even come close to the quality and efficiency. These mk2 headphones do not have quite the same clarity in the treble as the mk1, but even at that its still clear with fantastically punchy bass, if you love your EDM these really are perfect.Living with them - The change to the single cable from one side is great, the new flat cable is great, buttons work superb with iphone, microphone is clear, sound isolation considering they are only passive isolation is fantastic. They are fantastically efficient, I find with other headphones, sennheiser, beats, skullcandy etc you can have the volume on the iphone (5s in this case) almost up at full for an enjoyable loud level, on these headphones its much closer to 1/2-3/4.Comes with a case, adaptor, and aircraft adaptor. I love my audio, I've tried a lot of headphones out, and I will definately keep buying these until I find something better. The fact I got this set for £39.99 is an absolute bargain, I wouldnt even be complaining had i paid full price for them.

Good quality headphones compounded by reliability and customer service issues.
These sound quality of these headphones at this price range is going to be hard to beat.I've had mine about 3 months and though the sound quality is great. (Some may find it a bit bass heavy but a good EQ will fix this). You will need good quality music files to appreciate the headphones and to be able to hear the difference more expensive headphones actually make.I've found these to be great for blues and rock after some EQ adjustments but hard rock and metal just becomes too much for these. The sound becomes dull, dry and full of bass lacking any midrange or high end.My reason for the two stars is because of:1. Reliability - the right driver has ceased to work out of the blue.2. Customer service even worse. No phone contact, fair enough. Raised a ticket with their support which states contact within 7 business day, fair enough but I am on day 8 now and despite another message no response apart from an automated message.Amazon customer services saw my ticket raised with them and have offered me a refund because they are unable to replace them or assist in getting them repaired. I'll get my refund and spend it on a more expensive set.Klipsch your customer service has let you down.
