MOFRED® Blue Ultra Slim New Apple iPad Air 2 (Launched Oct. 2014) Leather Case Cover, Full Protection Smart Cover for iPad Air 2 iPad 6th Generation

This is the 2nd cover I have purchased from this company. The first I had for 5 years and only replaced because I took it on holiday and the 40 degree heat melted the glue allowing the magnets to fall out! My fault as it really isn’t designed to cope with those temperatures. The iPad also overheated! I bought exactly the same cover again because I had been very happy with the first. The cover fits snuggly, all of the cut outs are in exactly the right position allowing access to all the buttons without difficulty. I like that the inside of the cover is lined which protects the back of the iPad preventing any marks or scratches and I find the shell to be robust. Having read other reviews I am at a loss to understand those who say the cover is cheap and flimsy with bits snapping off as my original purchase was thoroughly well used and I confess I had dropped my iPad a few times with no damage to case or iPad, which to me suggests it does it’s job well and is the reason I purchased the same cover again. For me this cover is good value, does its job and stands up well to several hours of daily use. My only criticism would be the lack of colour options.

Having recently bought a new iPad 2air to replace my original one, my existing case didn't fit so I chose this one. I am really pleased with the case it is very sturdy and the IPad fits snugly and the speakers, volume controls and charging point are easily accessible. The case allows the iPad to switch off when you close the flap which I had been used to and I specifically wanted a case that protected the back of the iPad as well as the front. Price wise it is very competitive and well worth the money.

I bought this product back in 2014 for my iPad Air 2. I have used that case for 8 years but had gotten tatty and flaky, so decided to buy the same product again. Firstly it did not arrive with the screen protector and stylus as mentioned in the listing. Also the quality of the product seems lower than my old purchase. The faux leather feel isn't as nice, and the plastic looks more thinner/cheaper. Will see how it holds up. Can't complain at £10 given my previous one lasted me around 8 years.

I first purchased this item in December 2016, and decided to renew as it is getting tatty due to usage. Received another today, but am very disappointed. There was no stylus or screen protector with the cover, and the cover itself showed signs of wear on the edge. I am not sure it is a new product. Also, there is no 'Mofred' logo on the outside as there was with my first one. I am returning the product for a refund as I am sadly not happy with the quality

I bought one of these 4 and a half years ago. It was excellent value and has protected the iPad. Automatic switch on and off is a real bonus. However when I ordered a new one I was rather disappointed. Quick delivery but the colour - blue - is darker than expected and I’m not sure that it is leather as advertised . Also there was no screen protector or stylus as advertised. When I tried to contact the seller all I got was a link to return it. I don’t want to return it, but do wonder whether I have received the advertised item. If the seller reads this please send the screen protector and stylus as I have paid for them.

Needed a protective case for iPad Air 2 from work. I wasn't too fussy as long as the case completely covered the iPad, didn't add much bulk or weight, and was black. This case meets all those criteria and after a year of moderate use, is still in good condition with no fraying and doesn't look tatty. It's not a premium case but it looks tidy enough and offers basic protection but I wouldn't consider it to be suitable for heavy duty.I can't remember if mine came with a screen protector but if it did, I didn't use it so I can't comment on it.

This fits the iPad well. All the buttons poke through in the right places. It looks pretty good and feels well made. The only thing I don't really like is that it's not as easy as it could be to turn into a stand to have th iPad at an angle. It never feels very secure like this.

For the price, the case is very impressive. Time will tell on how well it 'wares' for condition, but so far very impressed. Its not particularly 'lightweight', so it does add quite some 'bulk' to the iPad when holding in one hand for example, but the magnets to hold the stand in place are a nice surprise, and the design is also nice.The screen protector that came with it is ok. Its certainly not as high quality as some of the more expensive ones, although i consider it free, and i'm not sure i'll ever use the stylus, but I would highly recommend the case, especially in the <£20 category.I previously used a 'Knomo' case, which was almost 3 times the price of this, and they don't immediately feel a whole world apart in terms of quality.
