Cupboard staple!
I bought these on a whim whilst on sale. I’ve had a few jars now and the size of the seitan does vary a lot. Sometimes it looks like beef strips, other times it’s little bits of seitan but perfect for stir fry’s when you’re out of tofu. They hold well when cooking and don’t fall to bits.

Rubbery
I've made seitan before a number of times and it never came out rubbery and hard like this. I thought it was supposed to be ready to eat. I don't want to leave too harsh a review in case I just haven't cooked it properly but straight out of the jar the taste is not great and the texture is awful, like chewing on an elastic band. I'll stick to making my own.

YUMMY...remember eating this in Holland...fantastic for vegetarians and others too!
Wonderful and delicious replacement of meat. Its quite a job to release the gluten from flour..you have to keep rolling the flour in your hands...endless task. Here it is in a bottle ready to sample. Yes its gluten! Yes and why not! Not everyone has gluten allergies! I haven't. Love it. Try it!

Taste alone as well with as side dish or in cooking.
I like how it is taste and I have added it to the meals: with sauce and bread, in the stir fry, I love it when it is spread with the garlic and put in the fridge for a day YUM - than you may eat it just like that or if you have bigger peaces then you may coat them and do some frying or baking.

Wonderful
I'd never heard of this until a few days ago. It's very tasty and quite substantial and a great source of protein. A very good alternative to quorn for vegetarians.

It's ok..
The taste was ok but the texture was not good, it was like rubber which ruined the product! I thought it was because of the jar, so a few days later i opened the 2nd jar, same thing, 3rd jar also... the expiry date was 12/2016, supposedly it's "fresh", So unfortunately i can't recommend this one and won't buy again.Before i tried Yakso Organic Seitan which i liked, the taste needed more spice/dip on top of it, which is ok, you can add what you like, but more important the texture was quite good !
