Love these cushions. I bought 2 for my girls as a stocking filler for Xmas. Typical weird dad present but they've get used so much. The sequined side isn't comfortable on the face, but the feeling of swapping between the 2 colours, and the challenge of drawing letters, words or pictures is great. Oddly satisfying like rubbing the head of someone with really short hair.

I bought these cushion covers as fiddle toys for myself and my two daughters (we all have autism). They're great to sit with on your lap and to just stroke the sequins back and forward, or to write words and draw pictures. The only slight drawback is that they do make a bit of a noise which drove my mum mad when she came to watch Sherlock with us on New Year's Day! We absolutely love them though.

It's perfect for what it is. I only gave 3 stars for comfort as it is sequins so not too comfy if using as a pillow.I ended up buying two as arguments started with 2 of my children ad they both wanted to write/ draw things on here. My son came back from uni and then HE wanted to muck about with it too. My kids range in age from 12 to 22 and they love it. I think it's quite therapeutic just having on lap whilst watching tv and stroking back n forth.

This mermaid glitter cushion cover is everything I'd hoped it would be- sparkly, gorgeous colours (mine is the blue and silver- exactly as shown in the picture) and seems to be great quality. I love the fact that the back of the cushion is the same blue in a satiny sheen - some of the other brands have a black back instead.The sequins really do move when swiped to create this lovely 2-tone effect. I hadn't thought it through and had hoped you could 'write' in all directions, but of course it's only on the vertical downstrokes that it's easy to swipe the sequins. With a bit more effort on the diagonal and horizontal lines, though, it is possible to draw a shape or spell out short words.My goddaughter loved hers- and I wouldn't mind one myself!

Purposely purchased this cover for my Autistic grandson of 2 years old; his small fingers enjoy the feeling of changing the sequins from one way to another the colours were great too, I recommend this cover (cushion insert purchased separately) as a ‘chill out’ item for those persons who enjoy a sensory experience.

Bought this pillow case to help give my room in halls at uni a bit of life and it worked. I was worried the material would feel cheap or look tacky, but not only does it look and feel well made but it's held together without any repairs. Not a single sequin has fallen off through its year's work as a stress relief pillow, with me and many friends drawing patterns onto in with the sequins as we stressed over deadlines and drama. It's really pretty and really fun to play with. 100% recommend and I'll probably buy a few more soon.

Got this for my grand daughter for Xmas prezzie, I'd already got a T shirt with this Mermaid effect on it, turns from one colour sequin to another at the brush of a hand. She's very tactile & adores anything like this. Spent ages running her fingers up & down it. It is only the cover so I ordered a cushion pad seperately. An absolute must have for anyone who loves sequins, tactile & fun. Came very quickly & is very good value. I would order again.
