I bought this for my stairs, having previous installed standard LED strips twice, only for them to break on the bend around the banister.This 'neon flex' is fairly bendy and perfect for what I needed.

I ordered my second lot, it’s really made a difference to my room. Considering I have no main light. The brackets help make it sturdy not like those sticky lights I know it’s not going to fall down. Thank you! Also I ordered on the day and it got delivered within the same day! Couldn’t be happier !

The media could not be loaded. This Wi-Fi RGB neon strip came in a foil sealable bag, with the neon strip coiled up neatly with Velcro ties.What's in the bag?1 x RGB neon LED strip.1 x RGB controller.1 x Power Adapter.10 x Metal mounting brackets.10 x Self tapping screws.1 x User ManualThere was no Ir remote included with the sample I reviewed.You will need to download the Tuya app that's on the app store to control these lights.Once downloaded, and you have everything plugged in and set up, you need to hold the power button down for 5 seconds, so the lights enter pairing mode.The lights will then blink red indicating its waiting for you to pair it with the app, click add a device, and you should see the LED strip being listed, you may need to enter your Wi-Fi password into the app to add the device.Once paired with the app, you have a number of options, You can select any colour on the RGB colour space, you can also adjust the brightness of that colour, and the shade of that colour using the sliders within the app.You also have various modes to choose from within the app, you also have a music mode where there lights flash to the beat of the music.This LED strip can only display 1 solid colour at a time, there is no chasing modes, or individual LED modes. So this strip is not RGBIC LED addressable.The quality of the LED strip though is fantastic, and seems very robust, so it should be tough enough to place anywhere.Overall, this is a great LED strip, its bright, its colourful, & its well-built. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was curious what I am getting here. And now after having it, I am curios who needs it.The product has a lot of connectors and plugs, so for example the controller to the light strip has some tiny pins. That plug is a fail, its too loose, and if it's moved it will disconnect.The round pin power plug works.The short distance between the controller and the light string is a mystery to me. It makes no sense at all to have here a not common connector, why not straight away the controller fixed attached?The controller has a sensor (?) at the end of a short cable, there is no manual telling me clear details.When I connected the things and used the controller, it froze a few times, the off button did not work. Touching or moving the cables can change settings, and which setting I have just now, not to see.The lights just flicker wild, I got no nice preset move like on Christmas lights. Needs an app? Anad Alexa to get something out of it? I have no Alexa and can't test how it reacts to sounds (is it a microphone doing this crazy flipping lights, or some fault internally? It did not on sounds I made like the old day disco lights. So I didn't see that item do much for me, my curiosity is dropped to zero. I should have left it in the shop

These lights are fantastic with bright and vivid colours, and a wide range of options easily controlled by the remote. Fitting them was simple, as you can either screw the holder into place or use sticky tabs. Personally, I found the sticky tabs to be convenient. The lights are great for gaming setups or desktop PCs, with unlimited uses and a stunning appearance wherever they are placed.the app offers a colour wheel and various mood options for customization. I tested the lights-to-music feature, but found that it only works when playing music from the same device used to control the lights, and doesn't register music from external sources. The lights also respond to voice commands if speaking near the phone.Overall, the product is pretty good, with excellent durability and light quality. It's worth the money if you can get all the features working seamlessly.

I haven't actually fully installed these lights yet as I'm having my daughters room decorated and these lights will be going under the bed and behind the headboard when it's finished. I have had a play with them though and I'm thoroughly impressed. They are very good quality and I love all the light features which I can control via Alexa. The light is bright and colourful and looks great.They are so much better than the LED strips I've had before and I'll definitely be ordering more to put outside in the garden.

The media could not be loaded. These are very thick and strong lights, with good fixings, much more stable than most using adhesive. You need to be sure where you want these and screw the fixings into place. The the light clips in well and holds well. The two parts of the wire have to be manually fixed together with a tiny little connector so be careful - can't see why this has to be the case, but what do I know? I felt the connector was a little flimsy and worried that it would break. Connecting the app was a little hit and miss. On the second attempt it appeared to be working properly. You have a colour wheel and various choices of mood you can use on the lights. We tested the lights to music feature, and found it only works if the music is being played from the device that you are using to control the lights. Music from an external source is not registered. The lights move to your voice if you are speaking near the phone. We have not tried connecting the Alexa yet. The light this give off is really bright, so would be good in a dark corner or room. Overall pretty good. If you can get every feature working well then worth the money for the durability and light quality.

This is very good strip lighting 5m of it for under £40.00. Beautiful colours I didn't actually put in place , but the person who did and set it up for me said it was very easy to do so.

This light set works very well. It's painfully bright on the desk, colours change quick with the remote, and the cover makes the strips into a solid neon effect. I did not notice any flickering, and I would notice. It looks about as watertight as you could get, assuming you leave the end cover attached.If you want to cut and paste, you absolutely can. It's cuttable every "dark" dot on the back. I did notice a few dimmer spots when coiled, but once uncoiled the entire strip appears to be the same brightness. (I didn't measure it, but I'm not using it for anything that precise.) You can see in the pictures that it provides enough luminance to light up the objects in my office with the overhead lights on, and it is bright enough to read by with the overhead lights off. It draws 2A at max brightness on white, so you will have to get a supply with at least 3A available.I cut off a small section and removed the neon-waterproofing layer to see what's underneath. There are the standard four connections, 12V and three grounds for the R/G/B streams. (I'm going to be using strips for a cosplay set so I have different set of requirements than can reasonably be expected.) It's an 8mm strip under the waterproofing, so any 8mm 4-pin connector could be used to join the strips you cut. Obviously, you'll have to fix any waterproofing that you cut if you want to use it outside.The soldering looks great, better than I normally do, and I'm pretty good at it. I've only had it on my desk for a few days, and less than an hour of light time on the power supply, but my first impression is that it'll be durable enough for any reasonable application. Remember that ANY CABLE has a minimum bend radius of about 10x the cable diameter, so don't bend it at 90 degrees and wonder why it stopped working.It was a little more expensive than I wanted it to be, but it's reasonable enough that I consider this a pretty sweet upgrade from trying to fit multiple single-colour strips into the same space. If it breaks (or more likely, when I break it) I'd have no issues buying another one.

very good strip, uniform color and light distribution, only issue is that the red and green reversed form the standard so be useful what controller you use

Very bright and surprisingly well built. The Bluetooth app doesn't suck like most other ones I've used. It pairs up and changes seamlessly. Only complaint on the software side is the modes are pretty basic but that is nit picking. The driver is sold separately but it's a pretty common cylindrical port style. I had multiple laying around from old electronics but it is something to keep in mind.

Great product there is nothing I dislike about it. The light is bright and soft/warm looking and it doesn’t hurt my eyes even at full brightness: depending on the colour.
