Very efficient impressed

I have to admit, I was very sceptical when I bought this rail. But, it is excellent. Having had a new bathroom re-form, I did not want to be screwing fixings into the new wall boards. Very easy to fit and happily holds a very large bath towel. Suction seems to fine. In fact, I have now bought a second one. All in all very pleased and would recommend.

So easy to assemble and put up .Have it next to my sink, looks good. Definitely recommend, very good quality,strong.

Had success with smaller MaxHold device in shower so felt confident enough to try this towel rail for convenient access near to kitchen sink, location limited by size of available cupboard doors and counter use. Tried on cupboard door directly under sink, can understand that it fell off because too much friction around it. Have now moved it to slightly less convenient location where so far it has stayed put. BUT my kitchen cupboards have modern smooth plain white doors and the suction pads have left pale yellowish circle marks at the original location which have not responded to my usual cleaner. Had not expected this issue and am reluctant to risk spoiling door surface by experimenting further. Just hope rail remains in situ in new location or I may have to return it. Update: Lasted just over a year on perfectly flat vertical kitchen surface (not a cupboard door), has now fallen off and will not adhere at all; residual deep yellow circular marks are unsightly and resistant to any cleaner. Had to give up on the smaller version too, failed in shower after a few weeks and then would not adhere to any surface at all.

This is just the job for what we needed. Make sure that you fit the round suckers so that the majority of the circle is ‘inside’ the rail. I didn’t at first and spent 3 days re-sticking it to the tiles, but once I realised and fitted it properly it worked fine. Been up for a couple of months now, holding a damp shower mat and it’s stayed in place with no slipping

I just WISH this had been as good as the other brand I bought. The chrome plastic is nice, sturdy, decent quality, and the metal bar is stainless steel to avoid rusting (all good so far) ...BUT unlike alternative brands that actually work, the black rubber suction cups are hard and not at all sticky. As a result, you have to hold them up as you tighten the screw. Not a huge inconvenience. However, then about 2 hours later, with no additional weight added, they fall off. If I didn't already have a different brand stuck to the same tiles, I'd assume it was just a bad surface but my other one (a 2 suction cup basket) has been up for almost a year, fully laden with toiletries. This is 90% a good product in the same way that a Ferrari with no engine is 90% a good car. My advice, buy the version that looks like this but has the sticky/tacky suction cups.

I mounted this on a fiberglass shower enclosure. If took three tries to get to stick well (so it didn't fall off in the middle of the night. What finally worked was my using a rag soaked in alcohol to scrub the fiberglass, thus removing any soap film. Three weeks later and it's still stuck.
