Much better than buying a new oven door!
I have a whirlpool oven that something seems to break on every other week. I have so far discovered how to change the element, replace the fan motor and now re-seal the glass on the oven door.I was a bit concerned about using a regular sealant due to the fumes these things tend to give off. This product was however excellent. Make sure that all the old sealant is removed and then apply to the cleaned surface. I purchased a couple of clamps to clamp it in place overnight and then re-fitted the door the next day.Price of a new oven door was about £135. price of this sealant was a fraction of the cost and the glass is completely glued in place.Update April 2013I am pleased to confirm that the glass is still in place so am very happy with this product.

The product does a good job. It has formed a good seal and glued the glass on tight. My only complaint is that the nozzle is too big and doesn't fit tightly, therefore it allows the sealant to seep out and cover the tube making it a very messy job.

Really useful tool for the oven
I've never used anything like this before so was a bit worried about it.It's simple to use but a little fiddly and you can get it on your hands so need to wash with an water and soap ASAP. I kept kitchen towel nearby to wipe up any spots. This glued my old bit around the oven back on and replaced a broken part of it. I left it for 24 hours and even before that long you could see it had solidified. We've used the oven several times since and it's all working very well.

Useless!!
Complete waste of money!! this is definitely not a glue? read the product description and wanted to use it to stick back inner glass on oven door. Followed all the instructions and as soon as the oven was used for the first time, the inner glass fell straight off again!! absolute rubbish.

Oven door glass, Christmas crisis.
It was a dark night, on the week before Christmas, nothing stirred in the house and all was quiet. I quietly tiptoed into the kitchen, only to discover a magical bone had manifested on the kitchen floor (left by the dog). I didn't know this obstacle was in my path, until I stood upon it's bony structure and lost my balance, plunging Vann Damme like into the oven door. The magic had begun, as the glass in the oven door decided it was leaving it's metallic frame. Poo (or words like it), were expelled from my lips, as I hobbled around the kitchen, that's Christmas fornicated I rued, with red Santa like cheeks. All seemed lost. The next day seemed pointless, but I managed to summon the strength to go to several DIY shops, in search of a concrete solution to my problems, but alas, to no avail. Then a Christmas fairy (Leonard from the Paint Department, with uncannily lady like features) said unto me "Go forth onto thine internet, as Amazon have the sort of kit you seek". I seeked and found, received the Silicone Sealant, applied it to the door and glass (post preparation), and burger me, it stuck, like a frogs lips on the Princesses hair free lips. Christmas was saved, I stuffed the turkey, basted it, and we all had a fab Christmas day. We all had chicken for dinner for a change this year though, and the cooker door stood up to the challenge. Thanks to HIGH TEMPERATURE OVEN DOOR GLASS BLACK SILICONE ADHESIVE GLUE SEALANT, happy 2013. MattT xxx [email protected]

Great Sealant.....
Does what it says on the tube, was delivered very quickly. The only criticism is that the sealant was very difficult to get out of the tube and unfortunately the tube burst, although luckily I had managed to get the required amount out prior to the tube bursting, but what this meant is that I am not able to use the sealant again if required and a new tube would be needed. Although so far so good and the glass panel is holding. It does explain to turn the oven on a couple of times for the sealant to get used to the temperature and that a slight odour will occur, which it does, but it isn't unpleasant....
