I actually bought this to remove an oven light cover. It worked first time. And I got the black one. They do say they cannot guarantee the colour, but I doubt the yellow ones are not as sturdy :-D

I bought one for my sister who has arthritis in her hands. She has tried other aids but prefers this one as it can be adjusted for many different sizes of bottles and jars

this is a very useful and simple tool.I already have a larger version of this and needed similar for smaller jobs.it works perfectly and seems well made

Good for opening jar lids, particularly small to medium sized jars where you can get a good grip with one hand on the jar and the other hand uses the boa wrench. It can also help open stubborn larger jars but I find that sometimes you need a second person for larger jars, as one hand cannot grip the larger jar tight enough to stop the large jar from turning with the boa wrench. Thus, one person is needed to hold the larger jar with two hands and stop it turning, while the other person uses the boa wrench.

It’s difficult to use. The strap comes out of the grooves easily. The strap is smooth and has no grip.

My Neff oven has a bulb cover awkwardly surrounded by the heating element and was seemingly impossible to remove to allow us to change the bulb - terrible design. I had tried all the suggestions from Neff customer service and several people including husband, dad and an electrician had tried but in the end, with the help of this tool, I managed to remove it myself. Took a couple of attempts to get correct technique/angle but did the trick. So happy to be able to see inside my oven again !

Have bought a lot of these over the years

I bought this after reading other reviews on here, and I wasn’t disappointed.I have been trying to removed the glass cover to my Neff oven light, tried everything and even bought the recommended tool for it but nothing worked, it was stuck and I didn’t want to pay £100+ for a repairman. After lots of googling I came across a couple of reviews suggesting using a Baby Boa Strap Wrench. So thought I would give it a go but wasn’t really expecting too much.When my Baby Boa arrived I tried to remove the glass cover but couldn’t do it, the strap kept falling out of the handle and I couldn’t get a good grip. However, my son tried and he obviously had the right technique for it. The glass cover popped off within minutes - I was completely surprised and relieved. Now I’m back to cooking with the light on.This little tool is great if you’ve go the knack to use it properly, very pleased with my purchase, it saved me lots of money!

Wrench is for light use. The strap does not have enough grip, it would slip when I used it on metal fixtures or PVC pipe.
