A positive marked difference
I have been a keen photographer from a very young age, but I finally bought my very first external lights for a camera only very recently. The difference between using with the LED light alone compared to using with a mini softbox seems quite astounding to me. It’s as if the softbox succeeds in highlighting the natural beauty in a person or object. I can’t explain this technically as an amateur, but simply put … I did not anticipate such a difference. I love the fact it folds up flat and give it a 5 star rating.

Good but fiddly to fit
For the price, this isn't a bad product at all. The diffusion achieved is quite acceptable and the product is generally well made and robust. If only the design was a little better to accommodate lights of slightly smaller sizes. I use it on lights which are 93X143 mm and so the fit is far too loose. Other reviewers have used additional velcro strips to overcome this problem, which sound like a good idea. I have carried out a slightly destructive modification by punching a hole in the middle of one of the long sides, to allow a screw from the light stand to pass through and screw into the bottom of the light, which creates a much more stable fit. In combination with extra velcros, the fit would probably be near perfect. You just need to be mindful of avoiding to obstruct the ventilation openings along the back and sides of your lights, whatever type of modification you use.

Neewer Softbox. Built with the Neewer 160 in mind, but about good enough for a 176.
This softbox is designed for the Neewer 160 LED as it's back elastic strap and velcro fixing point require the depth of the 160's plastic housing to fix properly. While difficult to mount on the 160, it is not impossible. Requiring a, 'pull, stretch, hold in place, repeat' method to guide the elastic around the frame of the 160 until it can be fixed in place with the velcro. The Neewer 176's housing is slimmer than the 160's. Which immediately makes fixing the softbox to the housing far more difficult. In addition, while the 160's heat vents can be left exposed to the air with the right adjustments, the 176's slim frame makes keeping it's vents clear almost impossible. The softbox however does a good job diffusing the light of both the 160 and 176 and should be considered as a good addon for the 160. If used with the 176, a different and more reliable method of fixing the softbox in place is advised as the softbox would still provide the benefits afforded to the 160.The softbox came in a slim zip bag to protect it while in transit and folds away for ease of storage and transport. Once the method of fixing it to a light is mastered through practice, it's a reliable and valuable addition to small LED lighting.

Low price high quality
This is a great soft box. I picked it up to go on my Neewer CN-216 as I had been using some Neewer gels with it too close and they heated up and warped (silly me!).The soft box fits perfectly around it and now allows me to clip my gels to it with out worrying about them warping. The light softness is much improved using the soft box over the included plastic filters. The hood also fits another LED light I have without issue too.As ever with Neewer the price is low but the quality is high.

Does not fit.
It doesn't fit at all on CN160, almost twice the size.Yes, you can try thigthen it with the 2x2 velcros inside (only 1 work the other will hang in the "air"),but it's really weird looking and very loose almost always falls off, doesn't stay straight too.. light gets much dimmer, the tripod is in the way the USB wire can be in the way (if you use it while on charger)You may need to cut a hole for the "tripod" to stick trough, also you may need to cut off one of the veclros because its in the way.... It's just NOT a fit for CN-160. The mouth piece should be like 8x8cm, not 13x13You may be able to attach it using some ducktape or some string...I checked on my webcamera, I don't see ANY difference with or without this softbox. I don't recommend it for streaming/video recording or meetings.I'd rather recommend buy a 2nd light source (especially if you have 2 monitors). That is what I did, I ordered a 2nd one I will light myself up from left and right without this softbox.

Almost impossible to fit!
Having bought the 176 Diffuser Mini Softbox I am astonished that Neewer promote and sell this diffuser that is virtually impossible to fit securely when using the camera/ight stand attachment supplied. I tried many times and then gave up. The fitting guide on the ad shows a different light model and without attaching extra Velcro on all sides it is, in my view, and impossible task. I know it is cheap but I have emailed Neewer and requested more help. Why sell something that is badly designed for the 176? Don't bother!

At this price it's difficult to fault!
If you see a few reviews of this item on the web you will realise that fixing it to the light is tricky! But a length of self-adhesive Velcro down each side of the light (attach loop tape to the light, hook tape to the inside edges of the diffuser) make it straightforward. Attach one side of the light, bring the hood up to the light and attach the other side, then bring the original attached stretch tape around the outside. A simple device which works well. You don't need to Velcro the top and bottom edges, and this might obstruct the ventilating slots.

Small so don't expect a very soft light, but they take the edge of LED lamps
I bought these to soften the light from Neewer LED lights I use for tabletop video. They are small (not much larger than the lights) but provide a softer light from the lamps. Don't expect a super soft light like you'd get from a full-size softbox. Mounting was tricky; I used Velcro to attach the softbox to the LED lamp body and that works well and is robust.
