AFA Tooling [13 Pcs] Auto Upholstery Tools - Strong Nylon Won't Break Like ABS - Bonus Clip Pliers & Fastener Remover

Ok I bought this tool set to make it easier removing trim and panels while doing a reline and insulation on my VW T5. The first set did not arrive despite receiving messages that it was on the way. It was lost in the post, no fault of Amazon or the seller just bad luck. Once I contacted Amazon a refund was made very quickly. I ordered another set of the same mainly because of the promise that they were tough and less likely to snap like plastic ones may. They duly arrived well packaged as usual. (I also like that the packaging uses paper type sticky tape now so all go in the recycle bin when finished) I used various of the tools in the set to remove rear roof and side panel trim as well as front door trim and panels. What a difference it makes having suitable tools for the job instead of screwdrivers etc which invariably damage trim. The tools handled very tight fixings well and I was able to remove the fixings without breaking them. Great addition to my toolbox, I do not think I will be stuck for a tool in the future for most trim removal jobs.

Hi guys, I bought this set thinking it would be small and would last the one job I had for it. Infact, it's absolutely brilliant value for money. The tools are massive and have literally years of life in them. Check the photos to see the size of the set. I thought they would be like a couple of inches tall and thin. The levers are the same size / bigger than my hand. Absolutely great setThey're very substantially made, and if you blunted the ends, there is enough meat on the plastic to re edge with a grinder.Brilliant item

The plastic pry bars are strong and do not break but they are not stiff enough to work effectively, you can ease them under the plastic clips holding the vehicle trim in place, but when you apply force the pry bar bends and the clip stays in place.The metal pry bar has to much of a bend to get to the clips holding plastic panels if the clips are more than about 2cm from the edge of the panelThe "pliers" have a similar problem, this time the pivot gets in the way.They would probably work on a door panel where the clips are closer to the edge

Wow! Amazing this is the real deal and two quality tools as well! Great purchase the tools are good and if you manage to break them using them for the job they are designed for then I will be amazed very pleased these tools will be used so much wish i had bought them sooner. I have looked at other tools out there on offer, none match up to these. I truly don’t have a bad word about them.

These actually do what they are supposed to however the metal popper release does scratch paintwork so please be aware ideally they could do with a plastic cover over the tips and it will guarantee 5*s

Very well made and comprehensive set of tools. Considering the build quality and amount oftools you get, it's excellent value. A very nice solid tool roll also.Removing trim and carpets etc is just soo easy now thanks to this excellent set.

great set of tools, used a couple of times already removed door trim and rear passenger air vents and this has definitely saved my trim from damage. not a mark visible.

a very useful kit,with every thing you need to take the internal part of the car to bits without damage.the tools are of good quality,and will last a lifetime,a very good addition to your tool kit.so its 10 out of 10 from me.thankyou.
