It's nice and long. Maybe a bit too long for some people but I like that it sits low. The length is not adjustable. Apart from being cute it's functional. You can also use it without the strap.

I used this badge all of last semester and it was great. The only issue that I have with it is the fact that the badge reel clip button comes undone occasionally and my badge would fall off. It didn’t happen a lot but enough for me to notice and realize something else should have been done.

Looks just like the picture. Very well made. Only problem I have is it's not a breakaway. Other than that, it's great

Okay, so when I first got this thing I was majorly disappointed. I’d never owned one before, but my new job requires ID badges to be displayed constantly, plus keys on you at all times, so I needed a product precisely like this.I opened the package and immediately thought: “Oh no! There’s no opening!” since I expected a slit to insert my card into. I felt dumb, but kept trying to get into it. Eventually, I thought it was a manufacturing defect and prepared to return my order. But then I thought: “Wait. I can’t be the only person with this issue, right?” I looked everywhere for instructions, and found a few other reviewers saying they couldn’t get in. So here it is…1. Place your card holder flat on any surface (clear plastic side facing down against the table with the top of the card holder [where lanyard attaches] pointing away from your body).2. Using your thumb or a couple of fingers, press down in the center of the card holder to create a slight indent. (You’ll feel the back sink in slightly with pressure.)3. While still pressing down with your fingers, slide the back panel upward and away from your body. It will slide right off.4. Place your ID card inside, then slip the back panel back into place by inserting it at the top and slowly sliding it back down until it is secure.***As for the product itself, it seems sturdy enough. Time will tell how long it will hold up with daily use. The lanyard is a bit short for someone of my height (5’9”) but I appreciate that it has a quick snap option to remove the card/keys from the lanyard without taking the lanyard part off and on throughout the day.The key holder seems like it can hold up with a few keys on it, but I wouldn’t overload it; the cord is plenty long enough to reach from hip to door handle to lock/unlock without issue. I even experimented with clipping it to a backpack and was able to pull the keys out and around to lock/unlock a door with ease without removing my backpack or the key clip. Would purchase again!
