Outlook Auto Shade Sun Shield ROUNDED / CURVED – Pair

We've bought these twice now, after the first pair we bought became a bit tatty. They are extremely easy to install. Just pop them over your car door covering the window and pull the strap down to hook under the door. Then tighten it until it is held in place with the elastic. Similarly, taking them off is just a matter of loosening the strap and pulling them over the top. Windows can still be opened all the way down.As an added bonus, they make the back of your car very difficult to see into from outside, assisting with security (not that you should be leaving anything valuable in there).There are a couple of minor drawbacks. They flap a bit as you drive along, particularly when windows are open. We don't even notice it most of the time. They also get a bit wet when it rains, so you are supposed to take them off. We use these all summer and don't bother taking them off if it rains. Moisture doesn't seem to get in, at least not to any significant degree, but they do then tend to deteriorate over time. The last pair we bought lasted two years before we replaced them, leaving them out whenever it rained (a lot more than it has this year!). In my view, two years duration for a product like this isn't bad at all. And if you take them off in rain they'd last much longer.Overall, these are brilliant. So much so that we deliberately sought out exactly the same ones rather than buy slightly cheaper alternatives when we needed to replace them. Wholeheartedly recommend!

Firstly I must say these are the best fitting car blinds we have used, we have a 5 series with the curved doors and these fit like a glove and are very simple to fit. The shade these provide in the back of the car is fantastic keeping the sun off our little one with no trouble.We had an issue where by we left these fitted to our car overnight as we thought that once fitted you can leave them on. When we got to the car the next day the windows were all steamed up. I opened the door and found that the blinds inside had wicked the rain water from the outside in. The blinds were soaking wet and water had dripped onto the seats. We had to remove the blinds and dry them in the house before we could use them again.So, overall a great fitting product that does a great job of providing shade for your kids. But be aware of leaving these blinds on during wet weather, or having them on when driving in rain.

I have seen loads of the sock type version of these shields but there is far too much material on outside and makes your car look terrible. Was really interested when I found these and bought them straight away. Worked perfect for my kids who hate the sun shining in on them. Also because there is only a small bit of material on outside of car you don't have any issues keeping clean/dry. Very easy to install and take off. hardest bit is walking around the car.

I understand that this product is generally bought by people who have children but I bought the shades for my dog. They fit the car,a BMW 330i,perfectly and are extremely easy to fit as per instructions though I was a bit doubtful about how the strap at the bottom would fit under the bottom rim of the door,no problems though,it did not jut out and did not stop the door from shutting properly. They provide very good shading at the back of the car with the added bonus that if we are stuck in traffic we can open the window for fresh air with no worries of the dog sticking his head out of the window. I would recommend this to anyone as the product is a great idea and very easy to put on and take off.

Brilliant. I have an old style focus 2003 model. So this shade fits but is a little loose one sided BUT once you pull it down and shut he door it fits fine. Full window coverage. I wish i had bough them earlier...now if only the sun would return! Packaged well and came earlier than expected!EDITJust bought another set from the same seller on 21/05/2018. I bought a set for my focus about 4years ago and recently changed cars to a peugeot 3008. So when I needed new sunshades I came back here bought the rectangular ones.Perfect once again. Fits wonderfully with full coverage. I will be back again if I need some more in the future. Thanks.

All good, easy to install, rectangle ones fit Dacia Duster perfectly. So much better than suction ones that only partly cover window.

We bought this for our Ford Focus estate, the car is nearly 10 years old so a relatively old style Focus. The fitting is a bit loose on the door, and it does cause a bit of wind noise with loose bits flapping outside the door, but in terms of protecting the kids from the sun it does a really good job and I would recommend, just turn the volume up on the stereo and you don't notice the wind noise any way. Previously we've had roll down sun blinds or the one's with the suction pads on the back and none have ever been very effective.

Was looking for a sunshade for my 8 week old daughter that i could leave on, but also wind down the window at the same time, and this is the only one that I could find. It's exactly what I was looking for and works really well to keep her side of the seat dim and cool. The only thing I would say could be improved on would be for the manufacturer to put some patterns on it, to baby it up a bit.
