Replace original valves that had started to drip, problem solved.Lots of variants so need to make sure you have exact details. ie length/number of splines extra.

The local plumbing supplies shop has a wide range of cartridges but none that matched the Franke kitchen tap that was dripping. I was therefore pleased to find this one online. It appears to be of the same quality as the original and fitted both tap body and handle perfectly. Unfortunately it did not stop the slow drip. The problem seems to be not with the ceramic discs but with the static seal to the tap body at the end of the cartridge. Polishing the seating face with a seating tool did not help, nor did packing it with PTFE tape. It is time for a new tap; the cartridge is not returnable, however, as it has been fitted and tried in the tap.If a new cartridge really is needed then this one should be fine (in the appropriate tap) but make sure the problem is due to the cartridge first!

Product was spot on and supplied quickly. Good value for money. Fitting was tricky but that was the age of my tap NOT to do with the cartridge supplied.
