Great Bracket but difficult to fit to an 2007 iMac.
Got this to fit an SSD to an older 21" (late 2007) iMac. The bracket itself is very well manufactured and comes with 2 sets of mounting screws. but the problem I had was once fitted into the iMac I couldn't locate the SSD into the predrilled holes because the ribbon cable to the iMac was too short. Had to relocate the SSD to the lower left of the bracket (used double sided adhesive for this instead of drilling new holes). To be clear this is not a fault with the bracket, I'm sure it would be fine in a standard PC or Mac Pro case.

A nice product but it sometimes won't install properly
I bought this Kingston bracket to install my new Kingston SSD in my old Dell Inspiron desktop.Unfortunately, the Dell desktop had the hard drives installed vertically, and the bracket doesn't have any screw holes on the bottom, only holes to attach the SSD to itself and for horizontal installation. The problem was eventually solved by drilling out new holes in the drive cage. But, less than ideal.

Not as shown in photo - It's better!
The photo appears to be the OCZ / Corsair bracket without the black paint. But thankfully it wasn't.1. This bracket conforms to the 3.5" drive specification and has FOUR 6-32 screw threads on each side. This means you'll be able to use your thumbscrews, and likely all manner of fancy mounting bays.2. The 2.5" drive holes are positioned centrally. There is no chance that a long screw will touch the drive, unlike the OCZ / Corsair design.3. The holes aren't actually holes, but two sets of slotted standoffs, for practically unlimited choice in positioning.4. It's slightly cheaper than the OCZ, and in my opinion better quality. This will be my goto solution for mounting 2.5" drives from now on.

Solid Bracket
Solid bracket and very easy to use, comes with 8 screws, 4 to attach the SSD to the bracket and 4 to mount the bracket into your computer. The brackets are silver in colour but look like they would be very easy to spray paint if you wanted to colour co-ordinate with the inside of your case. The only slight niggle i had was that i wanted to have them at the back of the HDD bays but the screw holes did not line up as the brackets hit the back of the bay, but that is probable the case more than the brackets fault and a bit of dremeling should fix this, all in all very happy with them

Not Universal but Cheap
Purchased to fit inside a Dell Inspiron 545 case but unfortunately the orientation in the hard drive bay means that this bracket is not suitable (no holes to link the chasis to the bracket). I still used it and put velcro tape inside the bay and the outer side of the bracket and it has been functional. Delivered in good time with extra screws (which obviously went unused).

It's a bracket
Simple metal frame for mounting your 2.5" drives in 3.5" bays inside your PC case. Supplied in basic packaging, with screws to mount the drive, and screws to mount the frame to the case. Slotted bracket into the case (upside down, from my perspective) so that the relevant holes lined up perfectly, and fastened it in place. Does exactly as intended, and I have ordered another one of the same. There are many similar ones, but I ordered due to the Kingston brand and competitive pricing.

Ideal for fitting an SSD to an iMac
An ideal bracket in which I mounted a Samsung Pro 850 SSD into my mid-2011 iMac.The bracket included 2 sizes of screw, one to fit the SSD and the others to mount the bracket into the iMac.The ovalised holes are actually raised on one side so as to lift the SSD clear of the bracket and the reverse of these holes are countersunk so the screw heads don't catch on anything. For the price I paid - it represents excellent value for money, whilst doing the job admirably.

was perfect for me
this is really cheap and does its job effectively. It is a silver colour and probably would standout in those black coloured expensive cases, but for me its fine and my wiring has gone so messy I cant even see the ssd, let alone the bracket. and the silver is not ugly and cheap looking. I would add though if you have LED's in the case as in my situation it makes these type of things even less noticeable. black would of been a more neutral colour though.
