Final review in- Reviews coming in phases I, Ii,
Final review-I am pleased to say that I have contacted customer care, and they have responded with great timing and attention to my concerns. My first concerns was the front hub giving off rubbing sounds intermittently , for which I provided video.I forwarded them recorded data(scooter mobile app) for my battery capacity and length of trips. My clip came undone from the base. These could happen on any well made item. They did not hesitate and have shipped a replacement scooter. I could not be more pleased with the ease in which we found a working resolution. Isn’t that a part of what every after purchase customer care should contain.Great work from the customer care team at iScooter! To recap:I was pleased with the speeds the scooter is able to reach. The portability is excellent, I’m able to commute on train and bus with ease.I have no doubt that I get more miles between charges with the replacement scooter.Side note, the headlamp and tail light are powerful and safeAny hill that I’ve encountered have been no challenged .The iScooter 1S is worth your money for it’s price pointI am 3 days in.- Battery life so far, throughout 3 full charges have averaged 9 miles, on mostly smooth even surfaces, mostly flat terrain, and the hill slopes no greater than 15 degrees.- I am so far really frustrated that I cannot get this scooter to go past 15 mph.I have the app and it is properly paired with the scooter. No amount of configuring has approached 16 mph in ideal conditions.- To be fair, I have not yet contacted the customer care contacts at iScooter. They may have a fix and I will allow for this, however I remain skeptical that they will help extend the range in miles that the battery pack has shown to supply on a full charge and near ideal conditions._ future reviews] upon further trials-Now more than 6 days in. (July 26)I have now achieved speeds surpassing 20mph, really decent , and necessary for my city commute as I transfer to and from public transportation. The folding and unfolding of the scooter is now painless , pops open and snaps closed smoothly.Battery life is still an issue as I holdout hope that I can get more than 9 miles per full charge. This is how much I’ve been averaging with typical speeds of 15 mph, mostly smooth and level terrain.I weigh only 184.(I have not reached out to the vendor so far)In case Ii would have to return this item, should the battery capacity not extend itself, I have started the automated return process and Idid not encounter any uncomfortable hurdle in doing this. This is always good for the consumer, thanks Amazon.Updates coming.

10/10 would recommend. DURABLE
I rode this 12 miles to and from work for 2 months and it worked great. Bang for buck is awesome and only takes a couple hours to charge. I also rode it through Minnesota winters and it did loose a little battery life in sub 10 degree weather but all in all great product.Headlight did start to sag but that’s from me jumping staircases and stuff which is not the products fault

Zero assistance from customer service
Purchased for our 12 year old for his Birthday. Received quickly, easy to put together and charge. Scooter seemed great at first as he rode in our neighborhood. He shut the scooter off and the next day he went to ride, upon pushing the accelerator, the temperature icon illuminates. Immediately sent an email with video and pictures. Next day called the CS line and repeatedly went directly to email. I left several messages.Next day still no response via phone or email. Called CS again and was able to receive a ticket number and was told I would hear within 24 hours.I additionally posted repeatedly on the iscooter forum on Facebook and sent direct messages with zero help telling me to send an email which I had, several times. I have called over fifteen times, sent four emails, direct messages and posted on FB and still crickets. The scooter has not been ridden or charged in a week and a half, yet upon Turing on and pushing the accelerator, the temperature icon immediately illuminates.Returned first scooter because after sending several videos as requested, I am still getting the runaround, they refuse to provide any assistance.Returned and purchased same I9 scooter, when received came with no bolts to put together. Called and emailed using the same vip email , was told to take a picture of the empty bag that was in the box. What?! You have left my child with two scooters that are unusable and you can’t just send the four bolts to put it together. After several emails and leaving messages and finally speaking to someone, I requested they overnight the bolts.Once the scooter was together, fully charged and ready to be ridden, turned it on and the temperature icon on the second scooter immediately illuminates and stays on. I honestly believe they are sending out broken or refurbished scooters because what are the odds this is again happening..This is THE MOST frustrating and irritating company to work with because they don’t respond, don’t answer the phone, delay with stupid requests and don’t care about customers. It’s now almost December and we still don’t have a working scooter for our child’s birthday that was in October. Thanks iscooter for your non existent customer service, and leaving our son unable to use his Birthday present.
