Works great.
Works as advertised. Only issue I had was connecting it to the app. It did connect but didn’t get past basic operation. Contacted support and we got it fixed

Unbelievable at this price
High quality camera slider. Great piece of kit. High quality aluminum with carbon fiber tubes and nice anodized bits. Can't beat at this price. Neewer never ceases to amaze me. I got the 80 cm slider and will likely get the smaller one for hikiging as well. Great for getting cool B roll material. Works well with the phone app, but was unable to get the wireless remote paired up so that was returned.

Pretty good, software lacking connectivity
Amazing piece of equipment, hardware looks good, software not the best, recently tried to contact seller, but never got an answer, that’s why 4 stars, otherwise, pretty solid product

Love this thing!
The media could not be loaded. Light weight, great padded bag to put it all in. Bunch of cords included to fit many different camera types for time lapse. iPhone app works great. I bought their separate wireless remote too. Easy to use once you work with it a little. I like that the time lapse feature will calculate it all out based on how long you want the final one to be, or by entering exposure/intervals. Moves my big Canon EOS R with heavy lens around even up inclines. iPhone video seemed to have a jittery vibration to it. Could just be my adapter/clamp I'm using with it though. I plan on using it for the big boy camera anyway. Easy belt tensioner. Super quiet and basically silent in all but the fastest speed, and even then not that loud. Dull cloudy rainy days since I got it, of course, so I've just been playing around with it inside. Took the quick video I'm including with my review just for kicks..

Good slider poor connectivity
The media could not be loaded. Going to have to return this. It works great as a motorless slider and it’s really simple to set up and feels solid. The problems are: The mounting plate is smaller than standard size so you have to swap out the ball head for a standard one if you don’t want to keep changing the mounting plates every time you want to shoot. The app seems like Chinese spyware, there’s an option for ‘free cloud storage’ if you give up all your phone's accessibility. The app is jenky and I was only able to make two time lapses before it froze on the ‘setting slider’ screen. Once it started up in Chinese. I can’t get the Timelapse option to work anymore. It comes with a whole lot of camera cables except mini usb. So I can’t use it on my canon 6dm2.*update - changing my 2 star to a 3 since you can’t write a separate review for the 120cm slider. I would recommend upgrading to the 120 cm slider, not only does it offer more length for creativity but it comes with a remote control as well as being compatible with the app. Also the backplate doesn’t need a quarter to screw into the camera. The batteries also came mostly charged so I could get testing and shooting pretty quickly. I did notice some resistance from the slider when moving it manually in the middle. Not sure if it’s intentional but when the motor is active it doesn’t seem to affect the overall performance.

Unfortunate wobble
I bought this slider after spending quite a bit of time shopping around and watching YouTube videos of people “testing” it, and vouching for its smooth operation. However, my experience was that it exhibited a wobble that could not be fixed. It looked as though a tooth on the belt slipped or something similar, which would cause a jerk in the camera movement. (No belt issues after inspection, however.) Could not get around it. To their credit, Neewer was very helpful, tech-support wise. They shipped me out another slider within days. Unfortunately, this replacement model had exactly the same problem, just in a different place. The tech-support folks sent me a video of a possible fix which involved loosening and retightening some of the Allen screws on the camera mount. However, that did no good. Also, I needed to use the slider to shoot parallax for interviews, and soon realized that the parallax bar that is the mechanism on this sort of slider at this price is nowhere near what one needs. You really need a 2 axis slider so that the camera pan can be controlled over the course of the slider movement, not just simply traveling along a rod at an angle. That might be useful for a simple product shot, but not for an interview. Due to the wobble problem, the slider might work OK for timelapse shots, but definitely not for live action video. It was a learning experience, and the one thing that keeps me from being overly frustrated was the good faith response of the tech-support team. Had to return it and am now shopping for a more expensive 2 axis slider. Wish I could afford the 3 grand or more for a really serious slider system (probably a Rhino), but I’ll try one more time to find one that fits my budget.

First Music Official video was a Success!
Love the functionality of this device. Adds so much to my otherwise very static videos I’m creating of my cello playing. Love the different speeds and angles it can go!
