Best pancake, waffle mix on the market.
Can’t fault Bisquick mix, it is simple to make up and to use. Can now have my authentic American Chicken and Waffles. Great to be able to get it through Amazon.

A Southern Cooking Essential!
This stuff makes tasty pankackes no doubt but if you are really into American cooking from the south then it's even better for biscuits... The savoury kind that you serve on the side and use to mop up gravy/sauce. We love the ones that you get at cracker barrell and the red lobster restaurants in Florida and Georgia and this is the perfect ingredient to replicate them at home. Great with just about any hearty meal but not for those counting the cals!!!Try this little recipie, you won't be disappointed:Ingredients:For biscuits2 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix4 tablespoons cold butter1 cup grated Cheddar3/4 cup whole milk1/4 teaspoon garlic powder/garlic granulesFor brushing over the top after cooking:2 tablespoons butter, melted1/2 teaspoon garlic powder1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakespinch salt1. Preheat your oven to 200 (180 fan)2. Mix Bisquick with cold butter in a decent size bowl with a big fork. Don't mix too thoroughly - there should be small chunks of butter in there about the size of M&M's. Add the cheese, milk, and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. Mix by hand, but don't over mix.3. Drop tennis ball sized portions of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet using a big spoon. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until the tops of the biscuits begin to turn light brown.4. Once out of the oven, melt 2 tablespoons butter in a small bowl in the microwave then add 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and the dried parsley flakes. Use a brush to spread this mixture over the tops of the biscuits.Makes 10-12 biscuits. Eat them while they're still warm and soft in the middle - enjoy!!!If this kind of thing is up your street (or down your bayou) have a look at these books for some substantial Southern recipies... BANANA BREAD!! YUMMY!!
I used to make Banana Bread many many years ago using Bisquick, but then I had a very bad reaction to fresh bananas so stopped making them. However recently my family has been demanding for the infamous Banana Bread, so I've found the recipe online and decided to make it again. Well it went down a treat =) =) and I've allowed myself a very thin slice for my efforts. As it's sooo moorish it doesn't even last for 3 days, hence making it again every 3/4 days!!

Really good product
I like to keep this on hand for making quick, small batches of carb-satisfying biscuits when the urge grabs me. I have it off to a tee now and can produce excellent biscuits/scones in just a few minutes and cooking them in my Remoska or min-oven means no great expense is incurred.Always produces tip top biscuits/scones and there is nothing better than a warm biscuit just out of the oven slathered with *butter*.(And *ONLY* butter! To hang with the cholesterol counts etc. My doctor does not understand why I do not wish to prolong my life beyond my three score years and ten (+2) if it means missing out on some great, tasty pleasures which I did give up for many years. No longer will I make such "sacrifices": Warm scones + quality butter + good tea (Ringtons) = a very happy old man.
