The Taste of Quality
I’ve purchased several boxes of Maldon Sea Salt Flakes over the past few months, and they’ve quickly become my go-to choice in the kitchen. I start my day with a big glass of warm water, a slice of lemon, and half a teaspoon of these delightful salt flakes. The unique pyramid shape allows them to dissolve quickly and completely, leaving no undissolved grains behind—something I struggled with using other salts.I also love using Maldon salt in a variety of dishes, from soups to stews, where it integrates beautifully without any gritty texture. While it is pricier than regular table salt, I can confidently say it’s worth every penny for the quality and flavor it brings to my meals.If you want to elevate your cooking, I highly recommend giving Maldon Sea Salt Flakes a try! You won’t be disappointed!

Your own salt flats in a tub
What pleasure there is to have this gigantic tin of the best tasting salt in the world. The size makes you feel secure and steadfast that your salt consumption could be actually match you to infinity. The finger flaking methodology allows the salt to be its essential self . It does not like metal grinders. A must have kitchen companion.

Salty!! Great value.
Definitely the most flavoursome salt we've had. And great value for money in such a big tub. My wife loves it so much she'll dip her finger into it and eat it on its own.!!

Best Sea Salt in the World
Best Sea Salt in the World - also the purest and the healthiest. I always coat my Jacket Potatoes in it before Baking - it makes the Skin Crisp and tasty and the Potato Flesh melts in your mouth.

Good item poor packaging
It’s salt - good amount and had several times = 5* but 4* this time as it wasn’t well packed and lid was cracked. A couple of tbsp in the box and one on my floor on opening box. Not enough to send back but only way to give packaging feedback. Don’t be dissuaded from buying - good VFM as long as not too much spilled into box en route….;-)

Maldon salt is the best
I've been using this since I was taught to cook as a child growing up just outside Maldon - that was a very long time ago and I've never needed to change. What I like best of all is it's crushability. What I mean is you can either put it in whole, or you can easily crush it to a pretty fine consistency in your fingers. No pestle and mortar or mill is required. I do have fine sea salt in the cupboard and I use it for just one job - making pasta - but otherwise, we use the various Maldon salts for absolutely everything else.

Nice and coarse…
Good quality salt, use it for baking and cooking. Plenty of it.

However, in medical parlance organic and inorganic are descriptors of symptoms both biological in origin, but to doctors are treated very differently. Organic to a beef farmer has a different definition to that of a wheat farmer and of course the soil associations definition would outrage home gardener. Cooks / Chefs would disagree on the defintion used by Marketing Consultants and then there is the general public and their expectations. \n\nHowever you personally define \"organic\" is very subjective."}},{"@type":"Question","name":"Is there much difference between this and Himalayan pink rock salt?","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"I think so, it’s made from sea salt and not rock which is much lighter. It isn’t overly salty which I know sounds stupid! It seasons without having to grind. Grinding with fingertips is fine. Try the small box to see if it suits you first?"}},{"@type":"Question","name":"How can you say it is organic when you cannot control or know what goes into the sea?","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"Hi David,This question was sent to me by Amazon as a customer who may be able to help with other customer's questions. I am not connected to the company who make the salt, so if you want to ask them a question they do have an email address on their website to contact them at Maldon. Google them and you will find their website easily. It is worth knowing that organic can mean 'prepared without chemicals' it does not necessarily mean what you are inferring about the sea. For example all soil has some contaminants in it and that cannot be avoided sue to various things like pollution, however the soil association gives the title of organic if the grower/producer does not ADD any chemicals in the production, so sea salt being organic is perfectly valid. You could also check out the Soil Association website if you have concerns about organic foods. Hope that Helps."}}]}]}
