Great sharp clean cut used for a couple of years now great cutters would recommend

These are great quality and they cut really well, but if like me your hands are on the smaller side you'll struggle to use them as the handles open out pretty wide. Other than that I can't fault them, they feel like they're built to last.

Do the job, easy to use compared to other types glad I got them. Safes your skin from being cut by sharp wire by using the shorter cheaper ones.

Based on opening the package and a few trial cuts, this appears to be a top quality item. It was quite a bit heavier than I was expecting - very sturdy. The cutting power is excellent. And it looks good, too. They claim "industrial quality" - I would have to agree.

Con queste cesoie sono riuscito a tagliare circa 5 metri lineari totali di lamiera inox AISI 304 da 0,5 mm di spessore (5 pezzi da 1 metro, larghi 10 cm, da ridurre a 5 cm tagliando nel senso della larghezza). Parliamo di 5 decimi reali, non 0,05 mm. Su materiali più morbidi come rame o alluminio si riesce anche a tagliare lamiere che superano 1 mm di spessore. Il taglio è rimasto dritto, con espulsione regolare fino all'ultimo cm dello scarto sul lato destro come previsto per le cesoie “sx”, e la pulizia del taglio è stata tale da permettermi di salvare sia il pezzo utile che lo scarto, senza deformazioni. Provate anche su lamiera dolce spessa 1 mm per alcuni centimetri di taglio e su plastiche piatte di un paio di millimetri: nessun cedimento, lame sempre stabili. Per tagli lunghi servono le versioni “sx” (pezzo buono a sinistra, scarto a destra) oppure le “dx” se non si può girare la lamiera. Le dritte non sono fondamentali da avere, sono adatte solo a tagli poco profondi, perché non permettono allo scarto di uscire correttamente. Serve un po’ di pratica: la lamiera non si comporta come un foglio di carta, richiede una discreta forza per essere tagliata e l’angolazione delle cesoie è fondamentale per non andare storti. Consiglio guanti in pelle spessa e qualche prova su scarti per prendere mano. Sono adatte anche ai mancini, che probabilmente si troveranno meglio con le versioni “dx”. Nota: se dovete tagliare lamiere molto sottili (1–2 decimi), evitate forbici di bassa qualità. Faranno molta fatica, non guideranno bene il taglio e il risultato sarà un bordo “masticato” che rovina il materiale.
