I’ve been pretty good about finding night creams that work for my face. But, it took me way too long to start using a day cream routinely. I’ve become a huge fan of almost every product I’ve used that contains hyaluronic acid(it assists your skin in retaining moisture and I’ve read that if the air in your house is dry, you should use it on damp skin for the best results. Wet skin + water + moisturizer = 👍OK, I digress, but that is something I read late last year, and I’ve been following it now consistently. My routine in the a.m. is now to cleanse, use toner, eye cream, and then go over my face with a damp cotton ball before applying this day cream, and finish with sunscreen(i’ve cut down on my steps, and I think my skin also believes like me, less is more).So far, my skin feels extremely hydrated, and the only difference is that I finally added this cream to my morning routine. The dispenser is a bit odd to me. You press on the bump on the top to release the cream. This saves me using too much but I do wonder how much will be left when the jar appears empty/doesn’t release anymore. I guess when that happens I’ll need to figure out a way to remove this unique top to see how much product is left. I’ll add an update if it is like I imagine, quite a bit. Also, I did do two days of patch tests before I started using this product. The first day, a little bit on my arm on the second day on a spot on my face and I had no adverse effects. So far, I like this product.

This is a highly respected brand so I wanted to give it a try. I only used this cream at night because, although lightweight, it was still too moisturizing for me in the morning under sunscreen. My skin is combo/borderline oily, especially in the summer. This cream is very silky and smooth but takes a minute or two to absorb. Once it does, it leaves your skin extremely moisturized and hydrated. No issues with irritation, even when used every night. I can't stand the scent though! I wish all facial products are unscented. For this reason I would not order this cream again after this jar is empty. There are so many similar creams available that are fragrance-free and provide the same benefits, not to mention less costly. While I don't mind spending more for products that work for me, after a couple months of consistent use, I just do not think this cream is any better than others I have used.

Yon-Ka’s lotion comes in a jar with a screw off lid. Under the lid there is a soft plastic cap over the lotion. On the cap is a raised section with a slit at the end. When you run your finger over the raised section lotion squeezes out of the slit. It’s unnecessary and makes it difficult to get just the right amount of lotion out. Either I get too much or too little.The lotion is itself is thick and rich, but not heavy or slimy. It applies to my skin nicely, absorbs readily, and has a slight tingle sensation. It leaves my skin with a nice glow and feeling supple and moisturized. It has a strong floral scent that I find a touch overwhelming. I have had no adverse reactions to the lotion.All in all… a fine lotion in not so great packaging.
