but it did and I must say I'm really happy with it
I bought this strap in 2013 and used it ever since. At first I wasn't sure whether it will last long enough for me to write a review, but it did and I must say I'm really happy with it.The top and bottom straps adjustment is somewhat clunky and it will loosen itself over time. Something you need to remember, but I have never had any problems because of it.Even though it still works as expected I removed a star for a few issues, so 4 out of 5.The first problem is the mounting screw, as it does unscrew itself and doesn't seem reliable. I think I stopped using it about two weeks after my purchase. I've tried many solutions, but currently I use Peak Design's plate with anchor link tied around the bottom strap. Works really well with PD Slide strap that way.Second problem is the adjustment. It's not really designed to quickly readjust for someone else (like your spouse who wants to use it). There are hand straps that allows you to do that, but are 5 times more expensive. One more thing I don't like is the padding of the strap. It wasn't that comfy when I bought it, and 5 years later it's slightly worse. Nothing life-threatening, it shouldn't damage your skin or anything, but could be softer.

Great piece of kit at great price!
I'm only giving this a four at the moment, as I've only just received this strap. But, having fitted and adjusted it, and taken a few snaps, pulled the strap hard and tested the strength; the strap seems excellent! I've never been comfortable hanging my camera around my neck and usually always end up carrying it in my hand, using the neck strap. So, this item seems perfect for me. Someone else reviewed this, stating that they returned the strap as it wasn't bigbenoug for their hands. Well, I am an extra large n glove size, and the strap adjusts perfectly for my hand.I'm going to enjoy using this: it fits my hand nicely, allowing me to use my Nikon D5300 controls effectively; it is strong enough to allow me to confidently carry the camera with it, when out and about. At just over £10, this is a must have for your camera bag!

not comfortable, worn out ,un neat
not as neat as the product in the photo . i put it on my d7100 and the chords were dangling everywhere . only used it for about 10 hours and the sponge has began to wear out . not smooth , sometimes leaves marks on your hands.

Very good strap
Case Logic DHS101 Quick Grip Hand Strap for DSLR Camera I was looking for a hand grip for a long time, tired of carrying my camera around with the normal strap (which was getting my neck tired).Very good product for its price. Easy to install! I have now used it for some weeks and it really does its job! I didn't put the camera strap back every since I've started using it.

Well made but not ideal for the Fuji X-T2
Well made and should work well for most DSLRs. Unfortunately I have the Fuji X-T2 and as much as I tried to like this strap I really couldn't get it to work comfortably. That's more of a criticism of the Fuji and the placement of it shutter button than it is of the strap.

A good price with not a lot wrong with it
A good price with not a lot wrong with it. I like the fact the straps can be tucked away so you don't see them also.

Recommended for video, a bit overkill for stills support
Pretty good piece of kit, well thought out design and comfortable on my Panasonic G80. Not probably the strap I'd permanently go with, but if intending to shoot a lot of hand held video, it will be my first choice in that situation.
