I purchased this product in hopes to remove an awfully strong gas smell from the back of an suv. Unfortunately a gas can spilled while being transported and soaked into the carpet pad in the cargo area.——————————————————————This thing is small but packs a punch in terms of output. After reading horror stories of ozone machines making houses uninhabitable I exercised extreme caution and purchased the lowest powered option available.I’m glad I did as the machine worked wonders; and within a few days of sporadic application the smell of gasoline was completely gone. This device also has a built in timer and the knob catches at each minute even though it isn’t labeled as such.Below I will provide my own method to assist anyone unfortunate enough to need this done to their vehicle. This is simple and straightforward but I highly recommend using patience with this product——————————————————————-Close all doors and windows of the vehicle. You want to seal it as much as possible when using the machine to make it more effective. I used a towel to keep the wire from getting pinched up by the door when fully enclosing the machine.-Run the machine for 10-15 minutes MAX. This may seem conservative from other information online but saturating ozone into a small space you sit in for longer periods of time is far worse than an unpleasant smell. This alone will save you from the 2 week long venting process others have gone through.- Allow the vehicle to vent for at least an hour between applications. This will allow the original scent to dissipate without using more ozone production than you actually need.- Repeat steps above until the unwanted odor is undetectable. The wait time is important for this because the ozone itself has a chemical scent that could mask the original odor.——————————————————————Overall this ozone generator is a great addition to the toolbox so to speak. As a side note, the fan that propels the ozone from the machine is an exhaust so point the fan side of the device (opposite side of the knob) in whatever direction you think may need more direct application.

I recently purchased a used vehicle that was previously owned by a smoker. The interior of the vehicle smelled strongly of cigarettes. After a full detail and use of various deodorizers, the smell remained. I purchased this unit after some research on the web.The big question is: "Does it work?" I would say it works, but there are limits to what it can do. I looked at several youtube videos, and read the (skimpy) directions. I ran the unit for about 45 minutes in the vehicle, then opened the vehicle up to let the ozone dissipate. Upon returning to the car a while later, I noticed a faint odor of what I assume to be ozone - a very odd smell, but the remnants of that odor went away quickly. Afterwards, I could detect no remaining smoke odors, although my wife still picked up some smell.After about a week, I did notice that the smoke smell had started to return. I ran the machine again for about 30 minutes. The second time around the odor was reduced, but not completely eliminated. Now I am going to wait until the heat of summer and see what happens. It's late winter/early spring where I live, and it's still fairly cold. It seems that as the car interior warms up (sunny day) the odor is more pronounced.Overall, for the price, I would say it was a worthwhile purchase. Just don't expect this thing to do miracles. It did help a lot. We are also going to try it at our cabin when we open up for the season to get rid of musty smells after being closed up for the winter. Maybe it will be more effective with that than it was with cigarette smell.

This ozone product emits very strong ozone! We had an ozone air filtration system we used for many years and it didn’t bother us. This one you have to stay away from while using it. It is very effective though!!

I own a couple rental properties. Smoking is not permitted in the homes, and I make this clear to all prospective tenants, but I live four hours away, and many smokers like to ignore the rules. Two women lived in one home for a year and when they left one admitted to me that her roommate smoked in the house all the time—and not just cigarettes! I had the house professionally cleaned and painted, but once the paint dried the smoke and weed smell was still there. I tried to air out the house but the smell remained. I lost one prospective tenant who specifically objected to the lingering smokey smell. They loved the house, but said they had to pass due to the smell. As a parting gesture they suggested I try an ozone machine. I was not familiar this product but all indications were that it worked. It did! I left it running in the main part of the empty house and came back to what I will call an “ozone” smell. It wasn’t objectionable… but it was an indicator that something had changed. I then used the unit in each bedroom… and repeated it in the garage. Then I let the house sit for a few hours with all the windows open. When I returned things were back to normal. No smoke/weed smell and no ozone smell. What a relief! The next prospective tenant to view the house loved it and had no clue there had been prior issues with any smells. They still live there more than a year later. This product is now on sale at around $28, which is amazing because I paid more than $100 for it. It was worth every penny. I keep it on a shelf in my garage and hope I never need it again. I have since recommend it to others who have had order issues in cars and homes.

Works great for what I needed a little tip is to elevate the machine if your doing a car like I did once it's done running close all the windows and let it sit in the sun for an hour then air it out for an hour or so and it will be perfect
