Incredible Value and Potent Flavour!
I use a lot of spices for both cooking and home remedies, and this 500g bag of Old India Whole Cloves is easily the best value I’ve found. If you’re used to buying those tiny, expensive glass jars from the supermarket, this will be a total revelation. What I love: Massive Quantity: 500g is a lot of cloves! This bag will easily last me a year, even with regular use in big batches of chai, mulled wine, and biryani. High Potency: These aren't old, dusty spices. As soon as you open the bag, the aroma is incredibly strong and pungent. They are full of natural oils—you can tell because they are dark, plump, and have a oily sheen to them. Perfect for Infusions: I use these for making homemade pomanders and natural moth repellents, as well as for toothache relief. Because they are so fresh, the numbing effect and scent are much more powerful than cheaper brands. Minimal Debris: I was impressed by how many "whole" cloves were in the bag. There were very few broken heads or woody stalks at the bottom, which shows great quality control. Sturdy Packaging: The bag is thick and durable, though I’d recommend transferring them to a large glass jar once opened to keep that amazing aroma locked in. Final Verdict: Whether you are a serious home cook, a fan of herbal teas, or into DIY crafts, you cannot beat Old India for bulk spices.
