A little goes a long way. Have used this to up cycle various ‘vintage’ items that had damage when purchased. Covered up chips on a full length gold mirror and a cherub corbel shelf. Used it to breathe new life into an Ivory mirror by highlighting some areas in gold and an old wooden dressing table mirror. Still got loads left in the tube. So glad I purchased this item. Would 100% recommend

Once you’ve got the hang of it, it goes a long way and works really well! Experiment on something unimportant first though, it recommends using your finger but I found that gave too much of a matte covering so I used a toothbrush and got a really lovely patina effect!It’s slightly translucent, I find it looks best either applied to something already gold to give it more dimension or something painted black first to give it an aged look

We used this on two things: grouting and to create a feature on a painted wall. Application is easy, just rub it and buff it. The grouting application is best done with an old toothbrush (or new if you're feeling flush). The ceramic tiles then just rub off fairly easily. The wall application is the same, however the surface needs to be perfect as any imperfections will show. The other thing is if you want a uniform application with no patina of application - i think you need to look elsewhere. However, in the sun it glimmers gold like no paint Ive tried. Its brilliant stuff.

Easy to use. A little bit goes a long way.Used it to cover bare metal that was originally brass plated. Very pleased with the results.

I bought this for someone who has used it before and had requested it for a birthday present so it obviously works.

4 stars as it can transfer if not thoroughly rubbed and some small areas can have shiny patches but doesnt effect look

Goes a long way for highlights on picture frames etc. 4 stars as very slightly brassy looking. Otherwise pleased with product as usual.

I used this gold leaf colour to transform a shabby wooden frame by first painting it red and applying the gold leaf on top using my finger while my wife guffawed with laughter at my singing the James Bond goldfinger song (and breathe).I let bits of red show through especially at the mouldings and it looks so good.You can use a brush to apply it but you will use a bit more gold leaf.A little goes a long way and the tube says it covers 20 square feet!It washes off with soap and water.Recommended.
