Feels a good quality item! Sturdy fit. **Q: What size are the connector ends? My existing shower riser is 25mm at it's largest point, where the hose slots in to it.** A: They are 1/2” BSP, this is a standard size on virtually all showers and from your measurements it’ll fit without any problems **Q: Can someone pls tell me what a mash washer is, what it does and why you would choose it over a normal washer?** A: The mash (or 'crush') washer is a rubber compound which compresses to form a better seal than a standard washer - most shower hoses are fitted with mash washers with integral debris filters. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent replacement *by O***Z on 23 May 2026* Great replacement.
