TDS Meter: Purchased this to test my tap water, Aqua Optima jug filtered water and my new filtered water system - straight forward instructions and very easy to use.Readings were (if your interested) Megahome Distiller Filtered water 0000ppm Filtered jug water 0054ppm Tap water 0060ppm. I believe that the jug and tap are very good/safe readings.As far as I'm aware, total acceptable level is 500ppm (but you would want this as low as possible) And anything greater than 1000ppm would be considered dangerous - possible toxic ions such as nitrate, cadmium and lead arsenic.PPM = parts per million.TDS = total dissolved solids.

Love this meter - its accurate and has helped me a great deal! This of course comes from HealthyWiser which is a wonderful company to deal with! I have purchased some things from them, and plan to in the future again. This works wonders!

I bought this model because it has TDS and EC, has a readily-available battery, and has ATC. Sure enough it has these things and so far it has worked well.A couple criticisms. First, it seems really silly to design a product that is supposed to be dipped into water, but not make it waterproof. Adding that feature would make it just about perfect.Second, the direction sheet in the package says to store it with the electrodes dry, but an email from the company after I bought it says to store the electrodes with a small piece of paper towel slightly moist. A clear and detailed explanation of proper storage would be nice.Finally a suggestion for the product page on Amazon. I would like to see the specifications section or the technical information section specify the type of battery required, rather than figuring it out from a picture.

Really cute tds meter. Only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars because the temp is incorrect. It is telling me my solution is 40.7 F which I know is incorrect because I have tempatire probes in my water that say it is 69.8. If it was 40.7 F my plants would be dead lol!
