Chucky 15 inches Tall, 11 points of Articulation

This is a great addition to my collection. I already have a similar scarred 16" Chucky Doll from Bride of Chucky but the talking element on this one is a bonus. One laugh and six different phrases from the film itself, as spoken by (I'm sure) Brad Dourif. Not only that but the doll itself is well built and looks terrific. Bear in mind that the default talking mode is demo so when you press Chucky's back he will laugh and utter a single phrase on a loop. You need to turn the switch (under his clothes) to the on position for all seven sound effects.

The first thing you should know is this is a reissue, it was originally released in 2014, the difference is this version has added sounds from bride of Chucky and has a black box (which will match the forthcoming Tiffany) instead of the yellow faux good guys box. The figure stands 15in tall and looks amazing. The paint job and sculpt are amazing, completely screen accurate but what steals the show is the eyes! The eyes are so lifelike! When you see it you'll know exactly what I mean, my words can do the eyes no justice. It's a hard bodied doll with articulation everywhere it's needed, the articulation isn't up to the same level as neca toys but it's perfectly fine for this piece. The clothing is brilliantly done, again all screen accurate, even the coloured stripes on his sleeves are in the right order. Chuckys hair will be pressed to his head due to the shape of the inner packaging but one quick, vigorous shake and his hair will spring into a much more screen accurate look. He comes with one accessory which is a plastic carving knife, it would be nice if this reissued figure had come with Chuckys famous voodoo knife and not the same knife as the original release but it's still a perfectly good accessory to the figure. The voice chip is loud and clear, it contains sound bytes from the bride of Chucky film. Some people complain that it only has two phrases but it indeed does have a full range of phrases, once you take him out the box if you lift the back of the shirt you can select to turn the setting from test to full. The box is ok, it's black with a blood design coming from the top, the other figures in this range come in the yellow replica good guys dolls boxes which if I'm honest is much better than the black box but with Tiffany being released this year and her too being in a black box (I assume as Tiffany wasn't a good guy doll) then having black box Chucky and black box Tiffany displayed next to each other will look really effective. Overall the figure is amazing, if you own any of the other two you will already know just how amazing it really is and what with mezco releasing two more in this Chucky range this year (Tiffany and Childs play 1 good guy doll) you really shouldn't let this pass you by

I bought this for my best mates birthday and she fell in love with his straight away. He's really big and is highly detailed. I gave it one less star because the speech in it is very limited; you hear the same repeated lines over and over. Had they recorded more speech it would have had the full 5 stars

Bought Chucky for a 39th birthday present. We had to return the first Chucky as when we opned the box to check the contents the dagger was missing!Fault free return and replaced with the same product with everything inside the box.Chucky has amazing detail and also talks and says a number of quotes.A fantastic present for any occasion, My son in law was a very happy man on his birthday.
