Works great. Durable metal threads.
Replaced a switch in a Harbor Breeze fan. Cut the original and spliced. This switch had plenty of wire, pre-stripped for installation, I wish the pull chain was a bit longer, but it works for my application.

Works great
The mounting shaft was a little longer than the original switch, so I did have to add a couple of washers to the shaft to take up some space.

You'll Need a Lock Nut or Washers for Mounting through Thin Metal
I replaced a broken pull switch on a ceiling fan. Seems well made, better than the ones made with plastic housings. The nut does not tighten down all the way. Most ceiling fan housings are made of thin gauge metal. So you'll likely need either several washers to use as spacers, or a locking nut.

It's not plastic!
I have a ceiling fan with a frosted glass shade that is mounted by a threaded shaft the connects to the threads on light switch. I previously had replaced a light switch that failed with a light switch that had a plastic body. Recently when I tugged on the light switch chain, the plastic light switch physically broke. Fortunately the ceiling fan is over a bed and the shade fell onto the bed. If this was not over a bed, the frosted glass shade would have broken.I am sure the brass body Akahttbn Ceiling Fan Switch Zing Ear ZE-109M Pull Chain Cord Switch will NOT have that issue.
