A wonderful product. I decided to try and cure my own bacon and ordered this. I couldn't have been more surprised at how easy it was to do. I also couldn't believe how such small amounts of cure could produce bacon, but it does.I've cured lots of bacon since and I always have at least 1lg of pork curing in the fridge to give away to family and friends. They can't believe that it's home cured and after finding out how easy it is to do a lot of them arew now curing their own bacon.Once you taste home cured bacon you will never buy the supermarket, water injected tasteless bacon again.I would highly recommend this product. It surpassed my expectations, it's very economical, easy to do, (literally a few minutes of your time and a week or so in a fridge). It makes great tasting bacon and delivery was quick. What more can you ask for?

Sizzling !
This cure makes it so easy to produce excellent home made bacon or ham. Amazingly simple with delicious results. No more shop bought watery stuff for me ! I shall try my own variations now , fresh herbs, brown sugar, honey, mustard etc, etc. The amount of cure per kilo of meat looks very small but that is how it is supposed to be. It is also hard to see any change in the colour of the meat after it has been cured but just wait until it has been sliced & then you see that lovely bacon colour ! Home produced bacon, how good is that ?!

Another Good Bacon Cure :)
Very easy process, worth the little effort required.It may feel counterproductive to rinse the meat and pat dry after 2wks, but trust that process.I found extending the final fridge air-drying from 72hrs to 1 week, and it improves the bacon ready to slice/use/pack/freeze.

Tried a few cures and this is, by far, my favourite.I usually cure a couple of 1kg loins at the same time in a large plastic container in the fridge. 5 or 6 days later and it's ready to rinse, slice and freeze. My wife keeps giving it away to family members and they like it too.

Lovely flavour,
An excellent product,with very easy to follow instructions. Most importantly, makes delicious bacon! An ordinary cut of pork turns into wonderfully flavoured food.
