SMARTRO Electric Pencil Sharpener, Best USB or Battery Operated Heavy Duty for No.2 and Colored Pencil

Took delivery yesterday and carefully opened package as it’s to be a Christmas gift and wished to make sure it was ok.Ok, it’s a box with what looks like two standard sharpeners, the box containing its motor.Tried it out on several sizes of pencils and crayons and all I can say is,,, ITS BRILLIANT, best points on art gear ever.What more is there to say

Great sharpener gives you a good sharp point and easy to use I haven't tried the large pencil yet but expect it to work as well as the standard size

The first sharpener I received did not work well so it went back. Excellent customer service from the supplier and the replacement unit appears to work well, with both sizes of sharpener. Will work fine with regular USB charger, but seems to have more power with tablet type of charger. Only slight criticism is that the shavings tray is a bit small, but I can live with that.

I bought this on the strength of ten 5 star reviews. Sadly, it broke the pencil point when sharpening and, rather worryingly, it turned itself on more than once with no pencils in it! I could not make it stop and had to unplug it. I am returning it for a refund.

The best electronic penccil sharpen ive used and ive tried loads. Recommend to anyone to give it a go for graphite pencils not coloured pencils

I can’t fault the customer service!! Originally the product was of very poor quality however, once the company became aware of my dissatisfaction they provided a full refund and a brand new product!! The new product does the job efficiently! Great value for money and great time saver!!

While it's an electric sharpener, it wasn't up to the use I had intended for it. The motor isn't very powerful (after all, it's battery operated), and even with the USB, it feels more like a waste of energy, as I could have sharpened my pencils faster and more efficiently by hand. Performance varies depending on the sharpener's mood, there's no other way to explain it. Sometimes it flies, sharpening quickly, but other times it stutters, stumbles and stops, so consistency is scarce. You also have to hold the pencil in a strong grip if you want it sharpened, which somewhat defeats the purpose of buying an electric sharpener. It's not very noisy, and the low noise level is actually its only saving grace. However, it doesn't sharpen pencils to a point, and it doesn't stop when a pencil is sharpened, so you have to keep checking yourself. All in all, you get what you pay for.

Very nice product. I use it regularly and it helped my life a lot. Also the seller was unbelievably helpful when I needed a guideline.

Ottimo temperamatite elettrico che arriva in una confezione molto semplice comprendente un cavo di alimentazione usb, manuale di istruzioni in lingua inglese e due lame di ricambio.Il funzionamento è molto semplice:Una volta alimentato tramite il cavo in dotazione ad una presa usb o tramite 4 pile AA (non incluse) è possibile temperare due tipi di matita (Circonferenza 6-8mm oppure 9-12mm) con una leggera pressione della matita all'interno del temperino apposito. Il tutto viene raccolto nella plancia principale rimovibile con una leggera pressione.Funziona benissimo e le lame (intercambiabile quando tutto spento) temperano divinamente!E' davvero comodo, evita di sporcarsi le mani e le dimensioni sono davvero modeste!

No suelo escribir opiniones sobre cosas que compro pero el sacapuntas no ha ido muy bien después de tenerlo más de un año. Desde el principio no funcionó con pilas, solo enchufado con su cable. En pocos días, dejó de funcionar el sacapuntas grueso para lápices más anchos y el sacapuntas más estrecho (lápices normales) iba perdiendo fuerza. Se ha usado muy poco, tan poco, que a veces se me olvidaba que lo tenía. Hace unos días he intentado sacar punta con el único sacapuntas que funcionaba y tampoco ha funcionado. También noté que se atascaban muchos los lápices y se rompían mucho las puntas. En fin, a mi no me ha ido nada bien y he vuelto a los sacapuntas tradicionales de toda la vida. Saludos.

Hallo,der Anspitzer ist OK, hat aber Probleme bei dünnen Stiften. Die Minen der dünnen Stifte brechen oft beim Anspitzen ab. Die abgebrochenen Minen bleiben zu 100% im Anspitzer hängen und man muss sie per Hand mit etwas Kraftaufwand entfernen. Gut ist das der Anspitzer eine Sicherung hat und bei geöffneter Klappe nicht läuft. Leider hat man nach dem Öffnen und dem Entfernen der abgebrochenen Mine eine ziemliche Sauerei auf dem Tisch. Das große Loch ist aber für dicke und dünne Stifte gut geeignet. Hier brechen die Minen kaum ab, ich benutze hauptsächlich die größere Öffnung.Wer sich einen anderen Anspitzer kaufen möchte sollte aufpassen, das die Spitzervorrichtung nach unten Offen ist damit die Abgebrochenen Minen direkt durchfallen und nicht im Spitzer hängen bleiben.Viele Grüße
