These are easier to take than mixing the slippery elm powder in water, and anyone who has done so will know that slippery elm doesn't have the best taste. These are very high quality and an excellent price. I find taking one capsule before meals every day will reduce the incidences of heartburn. It takes a few weeks before you will notice the difference, and it's best not to miss any days but be consistent with them.

For some reason my first review and honest opinion wasn’t allowed ?I think a ‘fact check’ speaks volumes on its own.Product seems to do what I bought it for. Will buy more.

Great product, delivered in good time

I am stunned to say the least I have had a terrible flare up of my gastritis, oesophagitis, with cruel acid reflux that was so bad, I was vomiting. I refuse to take anything ending in 'zole' due to severe reaction to Lansoprazole that had me hospitilised. I was in so much pain my GP insisted I try Ranitidine, against my better judgement, and again this just exacerbated my issues. I have kept my issues at bay using DGL and ACV but these failed me. So I bought some D-Limonene tablets, which after 6 hours calmed down the griping and bloating, but I was still have reflux issues. I had these delivered today, took 2 at 3 pm and cannot believe the difference in such a short space of time, the nausea has gone, and the burn in my abdomen is slowly diminishing. I have taken nothing else today. I know it is early days, but I am very encouraged, I will come back in a few days and update on progress. I am due to have another endoscopy soon, and I see my GI consultant in 3 weeks.

I purchased this for my cat who has had diarrhea for quite a while, and nothing I did with her diet seemed to help.Initially I just opened a capsule and added it to her food once a day, but after 3 days there was no change at all.I then read that it is more effective making it up into a tea, so I emptied 6 capsules into a jug and added 8 fluid ounces of boiling water.I left it to cool, then mixed 4 teaspoons in with each meal (3 meals per day) the liquid needs to be kept in the fridge and should last about 3 days.I noticed an improvement straightaway. Slippery Elm is a very safe herb, it is used for a number of ailments, but if you have a cat or dog with diarrhea I would definately try it.
