I bought these mainly because of the recommendations on the site and mostly positive reviews. They also seemed very good value for money.Opened the first one 2 days ago and put it in my car with the vent open fully so that I could get the best results. (Strongest Scent)After 2 days I've yet to smell anything at all when I get in the car, its been very warm the past couple of days so I thought the heat would increase the evaporation and hence the scent.Ive yet to smell ANYTHING at all when I get in the car, I even opened the cap back up to make sure there wasn't some sort of plastic seal around the blocks in the tin but no. The only time I've got anything out of it is when I put my nose right to the vent and sniff it!!Ive ended up having to buy another brand from a shop I was in today at an additional £4.99.

I bought these because I had one many years ago and remember it being amazing. I could barely smell these ones from the day of opening and no I don’t have COVID. Very disappointed. Even with the heating on full blast in the car for a while it didn’t really bring any of the smell out of the can. I only gave it a 2 instead of a 1 as maybe they are much better in the summer or I got a bad batch?

These are such a soft gentle perfume to your car interior, you may wish to use two personally I do, front and back.I've tried the Cherry not only overpowering but had to dump it shortly after installing it, sickly, cheap smelling perfume that sticks in the throat is what it reminds me of, Vanilla is far more subtle .

Whether this was old stock or the manufacturing process has changed since I last bought some of this some years ago, these are useless. Strength very weak and certainly can't be detected once placed in the car. There is much, much better out there.

I added one of these to each of my cars, one at my desk and gave one to a friend for his car.My car is odurlus, it's kept clean, after 5 days I am yet to smell anything when getting into the car, even in the morning.Holding the can at around 3" I can smell it, further and I cannot.The weekend car has no smell either.I went online as I thought 'surely I am using these wrong?' Maybe you have to add water in the foam or something? Nope.I can't reccomend these as maybe the smell does last ages, at 3" away from your nose but I cannot smell it in general in the car nor can anyone else.

Complete waste of money, 4 arrived, the ring pull on 1 was broken, 3 of the others after opening did not smell of vanilla, in fact they didnt smell of anything apart from dry compacted cardboard. Each can contains 3 scent blocks, in each case they were bone dry and odourless. Refund required

Have had California scents for a long time now. Never been disappointed...until now. What a waste of money...! They have no scent whatsoever.Buyer Beware. You have been warned.California scents. You should be ashamed. AT LEAST DICK TURPIN WORE A MASK.

I wonder if the people writing negative reviews realise it's a tin that you have to open to release the smell? (Like a food tin)Anyway, these were already in my car when I bought it and everyone always comments how nice it smells despite having had the car for 2 years now. It's only just started to fade, so I specifically ordered more from the same brand. It isn't overpowering like some air fresheners and lasts a very long time.The only reason this is 4* is because the vanilla smell is nice, but I preferred the coconut smell and the Golden something smell that was already in my car.
