I got this along with some goggles because I experienced the insanity of SARS in Beijing in the 2000s and decided I was taking absolutely no chances this time out. I have elderly relatives and It's just me so I've got to stay healthy myself incase I need to care for them at some point during all this. For the correct level of protection against COVID-19 you're going to want to use P3 filters. It'll protect you from the virus when it is aerosolized and attached to dust or water droplets hanging around in the environment. Remember there is no such thing as 100% so avoid all but the most necessary of contact. If used correctly with a good fit and airtight seal it'll see you well. It's very important to remember that once you have a good fit not to keep touching your mask as that's where the contaminants likely will be. When you get back be sure to take extreme care in the process of removing an decontaminating it after use. This can be achieved with disinfectant solution. The filters are REALLY hard to get on and off - which is my only complaint.
