It is practical for the above or a beach mat where there is lots of sand, you just need to overcome the smell of it......... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ folds away easily and looks nice enough *by G***C on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 August 2017* Not totally waterproof, it did get a little damp but to be fair we were using it on some very soggy ground. Works great and looks good. You need to remember how to fold it back. It does get a bit dirty and can get mouldy if you fold it while still wet. so must be dried first. So far cleaned it by wiping but I think eventually I will try in washing machine.
