This does not do what it states to do, it says that sand filters through, total misconception as it holds all the sand so you end up with a sand ground sheet and the water does not seep though either as suggested, so it is just a large water and sand pit holder totally waste of money. Very misleading information and advertising of this product!!!!

Nice large size. Bought as it said waterproof but as soon as we sat on it on the Sand we had wet bottoms, it soaked water through. Good for a bone dry area

I love this product, brought it on holidays with me as I don’t always want loungers and just throw my towel on the ground, anyway, put this down on the ground and 3 large beach towels went on top with plenty of room, kept our towels clean and dry - highly recommend to anyone wanting to buy one, I didn’t need the 4 pins that came with it as we weren’t on grass, but will Def use them to hold down the blanket when needed, this blanket comes with its own little carry bag and folds to a tiny little package that cud easily be carried in a backpack on a camping trip - great product !!

This works wonders at keeping sand or insects away from you while on the beach. Much better than a normal blanket. It is water repellent. Light weight and large enough for four people to be comfortable. Just wish the paths had been sustainable wood rather than plastic. But still very pleased with this item.

Incredibly light weight. It did blow about a bit when trying to lay it down, but once pegged it was perfect. Kept us relatively sand free on the beach for a good 4 hours, and once done with, a quick shake and it was clean.

Bought this to use on the beech whilst on holiday in Europe - it’s fantastic it’s lightweight so doesn’t take up your baggage allowance, it’s folds very small so fits into your beech bag too - well made and definitely worth the money it will be used regularly- this was a fantastic purchase and highly recommended.

Practical blanket but more like a sheet than picnic blanket but very lightweight, easy to store and no sand gets left on the sheet it just slips straight off.Not sure if waterproof as it didn't get wet.Great that it pegs down so doesn't blow away or move.

If you're looking for a "sandless" beach mat then unfortunately this is NOT the one and totally does NOT work in that way. Just tested it out on a fine sand beach on our holiday and we kept having to unpeg the whole mat to shake the sand off. Even when we rubbed the sand on top to try and coax it down it remained there!However it's a good beach mat and folds into a small carry bag, that's it's only feature.
